Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatry)
3634 Glenn Lakes Ln, Suite 170, MISSOURI CITY, TX
I'm passionate about helping people through a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and mood disorders-like generalized anxiety, major depression, and bipolar disorder-to focus and motivation issues that can interfere with daily life. With over 14 years of experience as a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Master Psychopharmacologist, I integrate the best of psychiatric medical and nursing care. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from UTHealth Houston (The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston), which has deeply informed my approach. I work collaboratively with each individual, and we develop personalized treatment plans, usually including medication, that support your journey toward a healthier and more fulfilling life. Medication management often serves as a vital element of psychiatric care. Mental health is the interplay of biological, psychological, and social aspects. By evaluating possible benefits, adverse effects, and personal factors, we will formulate a plan that resonates with your values and lifestyle. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone deserves a chance to flourish, irrespective of any obstacles they may face. We will work to tailor interventions around your distinct circumstances. It is my honor to work alongside you with candor, feedback, and shared decision-making, all of which bolster resilience and pave the way for lasting growth.
