About Dr. Shirley Jean-Baptiste
Dr. Jean-Baptiste earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine in 1999 and completed her residency in dermatology at Northwestern University in 2003. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Her practice interests include advanced therapy for psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancer surgery, including Mohs surgery. Her primary cosmetic interests include BOTOX and Restylane for frown lines, as well as KTP laser treatment for vascular lesions.

My overall experience with Dr. Baptiste was an effective one.

The dr. was behind with her patients and took a long time to get me into a room. When I was finally put in one I still had to wait a while. When she finally saw me I would say she only took 5 minutes with me and barely looked at my skin. It didn’t really feel like she was listening to my concerns and already had her mind set on something else. I told her one topical I previously used did not work on me and she still prescribed it. The rest of the staff were very nice though! I would recommend seeing a different doctor.

I didn’t like this dermatologist she was not very pleasant and rushed my appointment also left me in a waiting room for 20 minutes and only prescribed me medication that I already was getting from a non dermatologist I feel like this visit was a waste of time

I and other patients were not updated that there was an issue and the doctor was running behind with no apologies unless patients asked the staff and of the staff Pam apologized and explained quite nicely. But that was after an hour had passed.
Dr. Baptiste was quite abrupt and rude did not exam my face. Just stood at a
distance and talked at me not to me. No apology or explanation that she was running behind. I would never recommend her to anyone. Maybe she was having a bad day but the patients time is valuable too. Never again!!

I had a good experience with Dr. Baptiste, who was very nice and attentive during my visit. However, I was disappointed to find that this office does not offer the PRP injections that I was interested in. If you're looking for other dermatology services, she may be a great option ??.

The front desk staff was so kind. I was not expecting for the doctors to be running 45 mins behind. when i finally made it back i was back there less than 5 mins and heard staff laughing outside the room about what i'd come in for. Personally was very disappointed with this office.
