About Shoshanna Laniado
My name is Shoshanna Laniado, and I am a NJ-licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist. I earned my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Yeshiva University in New York, NY. I'm dedicated to helping children and adults reach their full potential by improving their communication skills. With years of experience working with diverse pediatric and geriatric populations, I've gained a deep understanding of the unique challenges each group faces.
From schools to clinics, I've had extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of disorders, including language, speech sound, fluency, social communication, cognitive communication, Autism, and more. Every child is unique; therefore, I believe in tailoring my treatment approaches to meet their individual needs. I prioritize evidence-based practice to provide scientifically supported interventions. During sessions, I employ play-based activities, structured therapy exercises, and actively involve parents to encourage skill development. I'm also well-versed in AAC devices and can provide comprehensive support in this area.
But it doesn't stop at children! I've had the privilege of working with adults in skilled nursing facilities who've faced challenges such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and neurodegenerative disorders. Through my client-centered approach, I strive to create a warm and supportive environment that focuses on improving your loved one's communication skills and overall quality of life.

I’ve become increasingly frustrated because I can’t find some of my words after having an unexpected TIA at a fairly young age. I was recommended to make an appointment with Shoshanna since she treats a lot of adults in this area.
After only 3 months, I see a really positive change. She’s actually helping me find my words again.

Mrs. Laniado was very sweet, creative, and prepared. She had many activities prepped for her sessions. She was always very punctual. She knew how to work with a variety of behaviors while working towards her goals. I highly recommend her for any speech therapy needs!

Hiring Shoshanna to work with my child was hands down one of the easiest and best decisions I’ve made.
