After finishing her fellowship in surgical oncology, Dr. Singhal was offered the opportunity to serve as the Medical Director at the El Camino Hospital Cancer Center in Silicon Valley, which at the time had no available organized cancer services. As a general surgeon and surgical oncologist with over twenty years of medical experience, Dr. Singhal has borne witness to the will and power which is needed in order to tolerate and overcome chemotherapy through the lives of her patients, and understands that being a great surgeon is just as important as being a great listener. She has developed a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment that involves not only chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery but working closely with patients to focus on the treatment of their bodies during and after the chemotherapy process. The importance of working with a surgical oncologist such as Dr. Singhal is well documented, and since these specific oncologists have at least an additional three years of fellowship training in all cancers in order to diagnose, biopsy and surgically treat cancers of all types, they have been scientifically proven to improve your outcomes and chances of survival in even the most challenging circumstances. As a surgeon with legitimate experience and interests in adjuvant chemotherapy and immunotherapy, Dr. Singhal is one of the rare doctors that knows precisely which decisions to make under any given surgical situation. Under Dr. Singhal’s leadership, the Cancer Center at El Camino Hospital now admits over 2,000 new patients a year with twenty-five percent of patients commuting from outside Silicon Valley and staying at the center for every phase of care. In addition to her work as Executive Director of the Cancer Center at El Camino Hospital, Dr. Singhal graduated from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where she received her M.D. as well as her PhD. in Molecular Pharmacology. After completing her surgical residency at the University of Washington, she finished a post-residency fellowship in surgical oncology at the City of Hope National Cancer Center in Duarte, California.

Most relevant
haven't received answers for my questions. hence I wasted my appointment. doctor should be aware of the basic options which help to resolve my issues, but doctor was not ready to discuss about any other options other than what she can do-which is cut the skin and resolve the issue which I am not ok with.
