This doctor really put me at ease. He was very helpful and had a great bedside manner
Not only is Dr. Stein knowledgable, he takes his time and truly cares about you. His nurse, Michelle, also was wonderful and conducted the best blood drawing of my life - seamless and gentle.
Very thorough. Did several tests immediately. Great doctor that takes the time to listen.
VERY THOROUGH AND FRIENDLY.
So happy to have been seen by him! Really nice great office and everyone who worked there was nice. Dr. Stein was friendly and professional! Great doctor
I was extremely impressed with Dr. Stein. He was extremely thorough and honed in on important distinctions, questioning me carefully about symptoms and timing. His self-effacing manner put me at ease. He is listening, listening, listening to everything you say. He seems to resist any jumping to conclusions and treats you like an individual. I could not recommend him more highly.
Great visit. He listened to me, took the time to hear my concerns, and gave me results right away. I would definitely go back.
A good listener and seemed like a kind man. Also, the office staff was professional and on point.
Dr. Stein and the folks in his office were great. Paperwork was quick to sign in as a new patient, the wait was less than 10 minutes, I was seen almost immediately after sitting in the examination room, and Dr. Stein was thorough in addressing my concerns without dragging the exam on for long. There were some points when I felt cut off from explaining what was going on, but I'm guessing it's because he had more specific questions to better diagnose things. Overall, though, it was a good experience.
Very thorough and knowledgeable dr. He reviewed everything with me and asked relevant questions. I was very pleased with my visit and highly recommend Dr. Stein.
My visit was excellent. Dr. Stein was great, and I would highly recommend him!
I went in for a chronic cough I've had most of my life. Dr. Stein was very thorough, took time to ask questions and listen to my answers, and got to the root cause of my condition.
I'm so happy that i found him and accepts my insurance. I think he's an excellent Doctor!
Dr Stein is an exceptional doctor
My visit was great. Dr. Stein is the kind of doctor I prefer - hands-on, knowledgeable, personable and an overall good person. I was surprised he performed all the duties the mid office usually performs, but that's what makes the experience a lot more personable. Great bedside manner. He answered all my questions without the sales pitch feel. I think I found my new PCP. Practice notes: I had to put my CC number down (I chose over the phone of course) before I could book my appointment - which is precaution for no shows. This is explained in the forms you sign when you arrive. Wait time wasn't long after my schedule time.
It's been a journey finding a primary care physician in NYC. Dr. Stein is a star. No nonsense, but with great bedside manner; asked all the right questions and drilled down to some possibilities and treatment options. I initially came in for chronic fatigue and had wanted to see any internist available; as soon as I started working with Dr. Stein I knew I wanted him to be my primary care physician. There's a reason he's been listed as one of the best doctors in NYC! Don't be dissuaded by the practice's cancellation policy. I was worried when the office contacted me earlier in the week asking for my insurance card and a credit card on file; in my experience, this has either been the mark of a good office or a terrible office. I realize, after going to my appointment, that their practice is top-notch and they have to do this to offset no-shows, not to be unfair. Also, the technician Michelle is amazing at taking blood! True aim, got it the first time, didn't feel a thing.
Very prompt and thorough, doesn't feel rushed at all like all of the other New York doctors ive seen in the city. He's an excellent doctor whom I wish I could have as my general doctor too. Sees patients at their allocated time slot and doesn't make me wait at all.
Best family doctor you could ever have.
One of the best doctors I have ever seen. Dr. Stein is sharp, kind, has excellent critical thinking skills and really sticks with his patients to get to the bottom of whatever is ailing them.
Excellent physician! Not only is he very knowledgable, he has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes his time to explain everything. He's highly recommendable!
Dr Stein and staff were professional, thorough and nice. Recommend.
Brilliant! Attention to Detail!
I was referred to Dr. Stein as a specialist, the office check in process was extremely quick and efficient. He asked a lot of questions and was sincerely interested in providing a thorough analysis and educated diagnosis. I can see why NY MAG rated him as a top doctor for many years. I am considering switching to him as my general doctor.
