About Dr. Simran Bains
Dr. Bains was born and raised in New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate studies at Lafayette College in Easton PA, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. During her time there, she competed as a Track & Field athlete. Through her personal experience as a long distance runner, she strongly believes in the importance of custom orthotics, seeking immediate treatment for various foot injuries, and routine foot care, which inspired her to pursue a career in podiatry.
She then went on to attend the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, followed by a three year residency training in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the VA New York Harbor Health Care System in New York city.
During her medical training, she was exposed to a wide range of conditions including diabetic wound care, skin and nail issues, bunions and calluses, as well as foot and ankle pain. While working in NYC, she had the opportunity to work with patients of several different backgrounds and circumstances. She believes in approaching symptoms with a teamwork approach that emphasizes easy communication between doctor and patient, as well as compassion and patience.
In her free time, Dr. Bains enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

The check-in staff was very friendly and efficient. When I met Dr. Baines , I immediately felt a connection to her spirit and later realize there was an another connection, her father was my G.I. doctor at one time.
