Are you feeling sad, worried, alone, or off in a way that you can't seem to find a solution? I help people find answers and solutions to their mental and behavioral health needs. As a nurse practitioner, my role is to support you in your journey to achieve healing by working collaboratively with you to design a unique solution that works for YOU.
I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's in Nursing degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am very passionate about mental health and believe in a holistic approach to one's well-being. I hope to change the stigma associated with mental health and promote happier and healthier minds!
What should a new client know about working with you?
****BEFORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT, PLEASE KNOW I DO NOT provide evaluations for work or court, see patients on daily benzodiazepines/controlled substances, or provide an emotional support letter for a pet that has not been or is currently being trained as a medical service animal***
My clients can expect to feel welcomed and comfortable with my care. I will be nonjudgmental and offer solutions that best suit their needs. I will be reasonable and flexible with my treatment plan because I understand life happens and not everything goes as planned. I aim to have my clients leave the session feeling understood and empowered.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I believe in a holistic approach with a treatment plan that is tailored to my client's specific needs. I am professional yet warm and comforting with my clients. My treatment approach mainly includes medication management and lifestyle modifications, but I highly encourage psychotherapy and other treatment modalities as appropriate.

I loved my nurse Practitioner the only thing I found inconvenient was if you are on a controlled substance because they are tele health they cannot prescribe them. It would have been nice to know prior to booking that information. But other than that Sami was amazing.

Simy listened and talked to me for over an hour, and she was very empathetic to my current situation, mental health past, and now my current need to continue my medication prescribed by my PCP(on a temp basis). Unfortunately, she stated she was unable to prescribe the specific medications that I was seeking that have proven effectively helped me in the past, and currently, without any additional side effects. I truly enjoyed our speaking session! Just wish she could help me further on my mental health recovery. I would recommend her to anyone looking to just talk to someone who truly cares and wants to help.
