About Sinem Gunes-cetinkaya

Nutrition has always been a very important part of my life. Prior to my nutrition carrier, I was always interested in reading and researching nutrition and different diet approaches. It was inevitable for me to receive professional and reliable education in food and nutrition and begin my nutrition career. After graduating with a master’s degree in nutrition at Hunter College, I completed my internship at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset (part of Northwell Health) and became a registered dietitian in 2013. I was fortunate enough to work in different medical units with diverse populations during my work in hospitals as a clinical dietitian. I believe that physiology affects the psychology, nutrition is more than how we look, but also how we feel. I use total system approach and consider all the life factors that affects my patients/clients’ relationship with food and nutrition and use evidence-based research for treatment. Together, we will devise a plan. My patients are in charge, our plan will include what really works for you. I am on your side along the way until we reach your goals, supporting you with education and motivation on your journey.
