Dr Amin is very friendly and personable, but he is too eager to push cosmetic procedures and products (Botox, Restalyne, Skinceutical products). The evening after my annual skin cancer screening, which was cursory at best, I noticed the rashon my neck that I'd had for a week and a half was bigger, darker and had spread to the opposite side of my neck. It wasn't itchy, so I'd forgotten to mention it to Dr. Amin. I was there for a skin cancer screening. The rash was so large (the size of a large egg) and pronounced, yet he didn't even notice it. He did, however, ask me if I'd be interested in products for my old acne scars (which I never mentioned were of concern to me). He is very friendly and he did an excellent job on my torn earlobe repair. However, I would not recommend him for serious dermatological issues.

A very nice, modern and state-of-the art office. Pleasant receptionist; fast check in on an electronic tablet (SO much better than the usual clipboard and 20 page intake form). The physician's assistant and doctor were polite, professional and very personable. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Amin was very offensive and presumptuous. He commented on cosmetic work he thought I had and asked which doctor did it. Incredibly rude and innapropriate behavior. And his obnoxious attitude was just generally unpleasant throughout my visit.

Experience was overall great. However, Dr Amin did not perform the actual mole removal incisions, which I would have liked to have known upfront. Since it was my face, I'd prefer to review the actual DR who performed the cuts. Thankfully, all worked out well.

I waited for 45min. When I threatened to leave and demanded a refund (they conveniently charge before the appointment) I was usheredushered into another doctor's office. Never saw Amin. Front desk kept saying "5-10min" clearly knowing hewas not around. This place is a high end scam. Avoid if you trying to actually see a doctor.

I have small warts on my finger and irritation on my breast so I wanted to see a doctor about it. First, Dr Amin came in with 2 other doctors, never explained why. I eventually had to show my boobs toall of them. First recommendation I got from him was to stop biting my nails and getting professional manicures. I reminded him that biting nails was a behavioral problem that extended beyond skin conditions and one can not stop with a click of a finger. He wanted to do a biopsy immediately and I declined due to my sensitivity to pain. He was visibly annoyed. Only after I had to ask him what other ways he could treat it, he mentioned freezing . As a professional shouldn't he be explaining all options with pros and cons and help me make a decision? After the freezing, he was clearly over his precious 10 minutes he had to spend with me and could not wait to leave. I had to ask him what I should expect after the freezing and he said "blisters" as he left the room. Again, shouldnt he be expaining the after affects of a procedure, no matter how minor it is? I am impressed that the office has ipads and assistants with laptops to collect my information. But a patient still expects to see a compassionate, professional and informative doctor. I was very dissapointed with my experience.

Dr. Amin was extremely informative during my appointment and took time to talk to me about the importance of knowing what to look for when it comes to Melanoma and cancerous spots. Having had problem skin in the past, I appreciatedhow closely he listened to me and how knowledgable he was. The skin check was quick yet thorough. The office itself is beautiful and the SkinCeuticals displays are simply stunning. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home during my visit. I would highly recommend MDCS as a practice and Dr. Amin as a dermatologist.

Went in for a routine check, which I felt was done in a hastily manner. After this, and upon my very first visit, I was offered Botox. He is probably an able doctor, but this made him look unprofessional in my eyes.

I filled out all the paperwork online several days prior to the appointment. I emailed front and back pictures of my insurance card prior to the appointment. I showed up promptly for the 3:30pm and was told, "Have a seat, we'llbe with you shortly." 45 minutes later, I'm still sitting in the waiting room and ask the receptionist how much longer. She tells me the appointment before mine hasn't even begun and that it will be at least another 30 minutes, likely longer. So, when I arrived, I was already in for a 30+-minute wait and that's what they had meant by "we'll be with you shortly." I can't imagine what a long wait would have looked like - you might have to just mark the entire day off for your dermatologist appointment. If you have multiple hours to waste in your day and no creative ways to do so, they will definitely help you. Otherwise, head elsewhere.

The first time I visited Dr Amin, he was very attentive and took his time to advise me and I felt the service was excellent. This time he must have been in a rush as he barely listened or advised meon the main issue I was there to see him for, didn't really seem to have read my papers thoroughly suggested solutions before I had the time to tell him what the problem I was having was. Very disappointing.
