What should a new client know about working with you?

I combine a depth-oriented, relational approach with cutting-edge medication and interventional treatments. I'm not a "15-minute med check" psychiatrist. Sessions with me involve real conversation. We get to the roots of your problems, not just the symptoms. Conventional treatments don't work for everyone. That's why I also offer interventional options, including TMS and Spravato, for patients who need more than medication and talk therapy alone. You can expect a collaborative relationship with a provider who cares about who you are as a person. You can message me directly for your concerns without going through multiple rounds of phone tags. I also collaborate with your therapist and psychiatrist so your care team is up-to-date with your treatment plan. My goal is that you walk away from our consultation empowered to reach your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Step 1: Intake — Our admin team will reach out to verify your insurance and gather background information about you and your mental health treatment history. Step 2: Evaluation — A 60-minute appointment with me. We'll do a thorough assessment of your concerns, your history, and what's brought you in now. By the end, we'll discuss potential treatment options and start building a plan tailored to you. We may also reach out to your therapist or referring psychiatrist for collaboration. Step 3: Treatment & Follow-Up — We'll begin the plan we've agreed on, whether that's medication, psychotherapy, or an interventional option like TMS or Spravato. Follow-up appointments let us track your progress, adjust as needed, and make sure the treatment is actually working for you.
