Getting to know Soha Alammoury

As a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner, I bring over a decade of experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions across diverse populations. My approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based care, and cultural sensitivity. I work closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate both medication management and therapeutic support. At The Place of Hope, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, or other challenges, I am committed to helping you find stability, relief, and lasting wellness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that mental health care should be collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your unique needs. When you work with me, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space where your concerns are taken seriously. I take the time to listen, understand your goals, and involve you in every step of your treatment plan. Whether we’re addressing medication options, lifestyle factors, or emotional challenges, I strive to create a partnership built on trust and transparency. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and hopeful, no matter where you’re starting from.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with a comprehensive initial evaluation where we discuss your symptoms, history, and goals for treatment. I take the time to understand not just what you’re experiencing, but how it’s affecting your daily life. From there, we develop a personalized care plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, lifestyle recommendations, or supportive resources. Follow-up appointments are used to monitor progress, adjust treatment as needed, and ensure you feel heard and supported throughout your journey. I believe in open communication, shared decision-making, and building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and respect.

A helpful, considerate, and courteous practice! An emergency came up for the doctor I was initially booked for, but the practice got me rebooked for the same day with a different provider without any work/effort on my part. My experience was excellent. The paperwork was easy, yet comprehensive. Plus, the doctor read it all ahead of time, which saved a lot of time and meant I wasn't constantly repeating myself. After the appointment, my provider was very helpful & communicative as I was struggling to get my prescription filled at the pharmacy. Also, being able to text makes it super easy! Cannot recommend enough.
