About Somil Mehta
Somil Mehta graduated from Case Western Reserve University – School of Medicine, where he completed a rigorous Physician Assistant program. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Throughout his clinical experience and academic journey, he has developed a strong foundation in dermatology and has a genuine passion for patient – centered care. He is able to diagnose and treat skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, and rosacea. In addition, he can perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions of various skin cancers.
Somil Mehta is dedicated to continuing our effort to optimize the health and wellness of our patients.

My entire experience, from start to finish, was pleasant. Although I can't recall the receptionist's name, she was friendly and answered all my questions over the phone. The office was very clean. Michelle, the physician assistant to Dr. Somil, was also friendly. She even showed me the recommended lotion that Dr. Somil suggested on her mobile device. Dr. Somil has great bedside manners. He made sure that I didn't feel any pain before removing my skin tag. Additionally, I appreciated that he asked if I had any questions and took the time to answer them.

I would recommend Dr. Somil Mehta, he was very kind and helpful. The only thing that threw me off a little bit was that he recommended me to try a product for my thinning hair that requires me to wash it out daily, and as someone with a curly and thick-textured hair, that would be incredibly damaging to my hair, along with probably aggravating the other scalp conditions that I was concerned about. It gave the impression that he wasn't entirely aware that a lot of hair products (including for thinning hair, dermatitis, psoriasis, etc.) are not beneficial for thicker and curlier hair textures. But I run into that issue quite a bit when looking for dermatology and hair/scalp help.

I had a really nice appointment with Somil Mehta. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He looked at all of my moles and freckles and catalogued them for my next visit. One mole that he was concerned about, he removed quickly and painlessly. I definitely felt like I was in good hands. I had some questions after the procedure the next day, and Somil answered everything himself and didn't hesitate to jump on the phone.

PA Somil, Nurse Michelle, and Nurse Glenda were kind and attentive. Ms. April at the front desk is also a pleasure. I was given ample opportunity during each visit to ask questions and didn't feel rushed. The procedure I went for is inherently uncomfortable, but such care was taken during it to ensure I was okay, not in pain, and aware of each step. I also appreciated that my opinion on the next steps to address my issue was respected. I've had some bad experiences over time, so this experience was really refreshing. I would highly recommend this office. You'll be in good hands.

Dr Mehta was great! He greeted me politely, made sure that all my questions were answered. Explained my symptoms and the causes. There were no extra follow up visits that were not required. He also assured that he would be able to assist over the phone in case any of my symptoms change/worsen.
The support staff was also great! All if them were polite and made me feel comfortable as soon as I entered their office. The seating area was clean. They followed the safety protocols.

Went for a full body mole check, got 2 removed and got advice about other skin conditions that were bothering me. He promptly provided the time and professionalism over call for the biopsy updates and I am very happy with the overall experience. Per the other skin conditions, his advice and prescribed topical medication has been working wonders so far and I've very happy to made the initial appointment to discuss everything. Highly recommend and I've suggested him to all my friends. 10/10 recommend.
