Dr. Sonya Jagwani is a board-certified dermatologist who graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2004. She attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where she graduated in 2008 as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, indicating placement at the top of her class. After medical school, Dr. Jagwani completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Northwestern’s Evanston Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She then completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She has a passion for teaching and served as Chief Resident for the Department of Dermatology during her final year.
Dr. Jagwani focuses her practice on both general and cosmetic dermatology. She places a strong emphasis on patient education and developing a comprehensive treatment plan that suits each individual patient. Her professional interests include hyperhidrosis, adolescent dermatology, and treating skin of color. She also specializes in injectables, such as Botox, Dysport, Juviderm, and Restylane. Dr. Jagwani shares, "My care philosophy is centered around patient education. I want to involve my patients in their care plan, explore the available options, and develop a treatment plan that best fits each individual patient."
Dr. Jagwani is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and is proud to have made her home in the beautiful city of Dallas. She and her husband enjoy traveling, staying fit, and spending time with their 2 daughters.

I found my new derm! Dr. Jagwadi was super helpful and talked me through my very first full body check for abnormalities. She was very reassuring (I’m a freckly gal) and talked me through what she was looking for. Staff were all attentive, helpful, and friendly. Office was easy to find, spacious, comfortable, and clean. 10/10! Highly recommended!

Dr. Jagwani was easy to talk to, she's a great listener and communicator. She was very honest in her examination, giving the pros and cons a potential resolutions. We were able to come up with a plan going forward for a positive resolution.

Great first experience! Office was clean and staff was very friendly, professional. Dr. Jagwani was a good listener, explained everything thoroughly, and answered any questions I had during my cancer screening. Two problems areas were identified - and she provided me with clear options on how to address each. After treatment, she helped me feel at ease and provided additional information on next steps + protecting my skin going forward. I will definitely be returning here.
