About Dr. Sophie Miro Fortier

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment for check-in and completion of all necessary paperwork.
Please note that all "ANNUAL EXAM" appointments can only be performed in person at our office location in a 30 minute time slot. All other urgent health concerns, including "ILLNESS" and "GENERAL CONSULTATION," can be completed at a separate visit in person or via telemedicine/video visit at the provider's discretion.
New appointments for refills of any controlled medications for medical conditions such as ADD/ADHD, anxiety, and insomnia must be made as an in-person visit, along with the provision of any supporting documentation, including previous medical records or prescriptions. This provider does not prescribe any narcotic pain medications but can make a referral to an appropriate specialist if clinically warranted.

I've been getting the run around with my insurance company and trying to jump through a variety of hoops to comply with all of their requests. Dr. Fortier provided a lot of really useful insight in helping me navigate the system - as well as helped provide a necessary referral for PT. I initially only picked her for the convenience of telemedicine but I'm going to retain her as my primary care doctor simply because of a wonderful first-time experience.
