About Sophie Shi
Sophie Shi, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable speaking openly about their health. She is pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Johns Hopkins University, and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, with additional studies in psychology and human development. Sophie founded Safe Space Primary Care to remove common barriers to care by offering flexible scheduling and personalized care that fit into patients’ lives. She has a special interest in cardiovascular disease prevention, weight management, and the treatment of mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
