I had a great experience with Sophy. She was very attentive, took the time to really listen to my concerns, and explained everything clearly. I never felt rushed. She carefully examined my skin, discussed possible causes, and offered a well-thought-out treatment plan that made sense for sensitive facial skin. I especially appreciated how cautious she was about medications and how thoroughly she answered my questions. The office was professional and the visit felt reassuring. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate dermatologist.

About Sophy Yu
Sophy Yu is a board-certified Physician Assistant born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from the University of Washington’s MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program with a Master in Clinical Health Services in 2022 and completed her dermatology rotation in Wenatchee, Washington. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Human Rights. Sophy empathizes with the psychological impact of many skin conditions and therefore prioritizes compassionate, patient-centered care. She has an extensive history in working with underserved and minority populations, and is proficient in both Chinese and English.

I went there and I was on time for my appointment however they made me wait. The girl in the front desk roll her eyes on me and was just rude. The provider was in a rush she didn’t really see my problem she just said she had coupons for creams and face wash I told her that I break out from those. She just seem like she was in a rush.

She was very thorough. Looked at my skin issue unlike my previous experience where I wasn’t even touched. But Sophy Yu was attentive and answered all my issues and concerns. And even wanted me to come back for a follow up even if it was better.
