Sorel Vladu is a dedicated and diligent pulmonologist serving the community of West Nyack, NY. Dr. Vladu obtained his osteopathic degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Saint Luke's–Roosevelt Hospital Center. Additionally, he completed his fellowship in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at the same institution.

An exceptional doctor (and a bit intimidating, but I think he cares a lot about what he does). He listened to my symptoms and my history of visiting a few different specialists to figure out why what’s happening to me. He was very thorough in his questioning, which I found quite intelligent. He asked me about my entire health history and was very detailed and specific. He mentioned a couple of illnesses as possibilities, but also added a syndrome, PoTS, that he doesn’t treat because it’s not a part of his specialty. He wrote down the syndrome on a card for my reference. Then he scheduled a breathing test to rule out another possibility. After a month of experiencing severe unrelated symptoms, 6 trips to the ER, and being seen by every specialist I could think of only to be told that I might have just anxiety, or just migraines, and my organs all look good (??), I’m 100% positive Dr. Sorel found the answer in the PoTS syndrome. I highly recommend his expertise.
