My appointment went well. I met the doctor for the first time and he made me feel comfortable right away. He was friendly and knowledgeable, I knew right away that I was in good hands. If you need to see a gastrointestinal I recommend Dr. Madane wholeheartedly. In addition, his office staff took care of me in a very professional way. She made sure my paperwork was filled out correctly, and informed me of the wait time for seeing the doctor. Overall, I’m happy with my appointment and recommend this practice highly.

The doctor tried to have small talk with me. He found out I was going to medical school and told me that I look like someone who should be in administration and not to pursue med school. He continued to say it throughout the entirety of the appt.

Does not care about the comfort of the client. Refused to do a colonoscopy & endoscopy in the same procedure so he could get paid for 2 separate procedures. I woke up on the table. Left a voicemail about the findings but refused to speak to me unless he billed me for another appointment. Still have yet to get the results of my procedure because I refuse to pay. He took a long phone call in the middle of my appointment and discussed another patient in depth while on the phone. Very very rude

Extremely disappointed with Dr Madane. He insulted me in several different ways, even acknowledging that he’d done so and providing a half-hearted apology. He went as far as to question diagnoses from other doctors, and was so frustrated with me that he put his head in his hands. He did not take a single word of my feelings into his plan of action, was quite abrasive, and couldn’t have cared less about my thoughts. Do NOT recommend!

Hi, I took appointment through zocdoc at Hackettstown location and even I got msg that I need to go there. It is a bad experience to me.
All that happened is office is closed at that location on that particular day.
Instead of Hackettstown zocdoc took appointment at Newton.
My best suggestion is Please call Doctor’s office before taking any appointments.

There was a delay in our appointment notification from Zoc Doc. We were not in their computer. When it was discovered, none of the prefilled medical history had been saved.
We were taken in fairly quickly and the office rectified the situation. Only negative was that the receptionist was quite annoyed and a bit snippy, like it was our fault for the mix up. Otherwise, the nurse and Dr. were friendly and professional....I chose this Dr. based on past reviews as I do with most things. I was not disappointed.

The worst part of the visit was that I had to wait a long time to be called in, and then waited again in the patient room before he came in. Talked about relevant information but spent a lot of time typing on the computer. He did offer a new thing to try before going straight to meds (unlike my last GI dr). Will be going back.

Dr. Madame and his staff were exactly what you want to encounter when going to a doctor's office! The staff called to say the doctor was running late, so I didn't have to sit around waiting. His medical assistant was courteous, friendly, yet professional.
The doctor took time to get to know me before starting examination, and explained everything as he proceeded. He was professional and thorough; yet had a friendly demeanor.
