I am passionate about empowering women navigating the complex intersection of mental health and hormonal well-being. Many clients come to me during pivotal life stages—pregnancy, postpartum, menopause—or while managing conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premenstrual dysmorphic disorder (PMDD), or other endocrine imbalances. These challenges often bring emotional struggles such as anxiety, depression, or mood swings, leaving women feeling disconnected and overwhelmed.
I have practiced in a busy obstetric/gynecology practice for 7 years, seeing over 40 patients daily, including those with high-risk pregnancies. I've treated patients with hormonal imbalances, perimenopausal symptoms, diabetes, and thyroid disorders. Before that, I practiced in family medicine, seeing patients with complex conditions across the lifespan. I am well-versed in hormone replacement and women’s health conditions, offering creative solutions that may include supplements, hormones, or testing.
I hold a Master’s in Family Health Nursing from California Baptist University and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner and board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Integrating psychiatry into my practice for patients with postpartum depression and PMDD highlighted the importance of additional education. Blending multiple specialties far exceeded the segmented care I could provide with one degree or two specialties. To better assist patients, I decided to bridge gaps in a segmented healthcare system, helping patients find answers more easily.
My practice blends women’s health, mental health, and family health to provide comprehensive care for women’s hormonal and mental well-being, as well as treatment for other psychiatric and women’s health issues.
