About Stacy Purcell

Stacy is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been practicing dermatology since 2013. She attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL and in 2004 she graduated magna cum laude. Following graduation, she worked for nine years with a large orthopedic group in the area where her responsibilities included assisting in the operating room and providing care to patients in the post-operative period. Stacy earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University in 1999. Stacy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She has received continuing education and training in providing cosmetic procedures including Botox, Dysport, and various dermal fillers. She has also had special training in skin cancer surgery, including Mohs procedures. She specializes in general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, and enjoys treating patients of all ages. Stacy was born and raised in Joliet, and continues to reside in the area. She is married and has two children, and loves outdoor activities – especially spending time at the beach and on the water.
