About Dr. Standley Adamek
Dr. Adamek was raised in Southwestern Oregon, in the small town of Powers. He is an experienced physician working in both family medicine and urgent care. He attended medical school at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona-School of Osteopathic Medicine. Osteopathic medicine provides all of the benefits of modern medicine while offering the added benefit of hands-on diagnosis and treatment assuring the body to be in its natural musculoskeletal alignment to properly heal the entire body. Before going to medical school he earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Linfield College. While attending Linfield College, Dr. Adamek worked as an emergency room technician and electrocardiogram technician at Salem Hospital. He completed family medicine residency with Dr. Phelps (his business partner) at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Dr. Adamek is an avid outdoorsman and sports fan and lives in the PNW.
