I was disappointed that Dr Stanley spent less than 5 minutes with me. Did not explain that I would up my RX to 100mg Doc but getting 50mg capsules taken 2x day. I already have RX for 50 mg. Didn’t need new one. Pharmacist explained to me.

He was very dismissive of me giving my relevant medical history right off the bat, he did a very short physical exam (less than a minute) and gave a diagnosis. As soon as my exam was done, he talked to the nurse in the room about my prescriptions and they acted like I wasn’t there. He did not explain what medications he was putting me on or why, and did not give any clear instructions. He was not clear about my diagnosis, he didn’t explain fully what it was and what it meant. He was very arrogant and I didn’t feel like he actually listened to me, I felt very unheard, and when I asked questions I didn’t get sufficient answers or he was very condescending. Anytime I said anything about what previous doctors had said he was also dismissive of them. The whole appointment was at most ten minutes. I didn’t feel like I was a person to them. I had more questions than answers after I reflected on the appointment, and I didn’t feel confident in my treatment and the reasoning behind it.

This is the second time we've used Schweiger Dermatology. My wife saw a provider with them in Utica not long ago, and it was a great experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable and caring. This time I saw PA Anderson at their Norwich location and he was every bit as great as my wife's provider-and all of the staff were excellent as well. Mr. Anderson addressed all my concerns and in fact insisted on going the extra yard during my exam. He was really thorough and professional as well as easy going and personable. I'm so happy to have found their Norwich location as I plan on returning on an annual basis. When you find an outstanding health care professional, along with a caring and attentive staff, I feel it's imperative to spread the word so others can benefit as well. Many thanks to Mr. Anderson and the folks at Schweigers Norwich office location!
