She studied functional medicine, completing a 2 year program in 2018, and continues to attend regular functional medicine trainings. She loves getting to the root cause of dis-ease and approacing patients as a whole rather than focusing on individual parts. She believes it is vital to work with patients to come up with a plan that is achievable for them and appreciates that medicine is unique to each person, and that there is not a one size fits all when it comes to treating various ailments. Stefanie is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing at The University of South Alabama and her B.S. in Nursing at Seattle University. When Stefanie is not working, she enjoys anything outdoors, sports, and traveling. She goes out hiking, camping, backpacking, kayaking, snowshoeing, etc., almost every weekend with her husband, 2 young children, and rambunctious dog. She also loves going to all local sporting events and was an avid soccer player until she had her first child in 2020. She has traveled to over 30 countries and hopes to travel to at least 30 more! She also enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with friends.
