What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial Consultation and Assessment: The first step in our work together is an initial consultation, where I will take the time to get to know you, your medical and psychiatric history, and your current concerns. This is a comprehensive assessment, which may include discussing your symptoms, family history, lifestyle, and any previous treatments you’ve had. We’ll also talk about your goals for treatment. Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Based on our assessment, I will work with you to develop a diagnosis and recommend a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. This plan may involve medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches. We’ll discuss each step of the plan to ensure you feel comfortable and empowered in your care. Medication Management: If medication is part of your treatment, I will carefully prescribe and manage the medications, monitoring your response to ensure effectiveness and minimize side effects. Regular follow-up appointments will allow us to adjust your treatment as needed to find the optimal balance that works for you. Follow-up and Ongoing Care: I believe in providing consistent, ongoing support. Throughout your treatment, we will have regular follow-up appointments to monitor your progress, discuss any changes in symptoms, and adjust your treatment plan as necessary. Telehealth allows us to meet in a convenient, flexible way that fits your schedule. Therapeutic Support and Referrals: While I focus on medication management, I also emphasize the importance of therapy and other supportive treatments. I may refer you to a therapist or recommend therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or other evidence-based practices, ensuring you have a comprehensive mental health care approach. Collaboration and Communication: I maintain open lines of communication throughout our work together. If you have concern Review and adjustments of mental healthcare.
