“I have been trying to regulate my pain, anxiety, depression and sleep or the past 2 years Stephanie really took the time to listen. I was in pain most days and every morning. Including the first morning I met with her. I apologized for how slow I was moving and limping from my pain. And she looked at me and said “never apologize for being in pain” I broke down crying. No one had ever said that before. She has quickly gotten my meds on track and I’m sleeping, I have zero pain when I wake up in the mornings? I’m able to work out again. I’ve lost weight. Stephanie was a true godsend.”

Getting to know Stephanie Ball

People in need are often dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, or having trouble sleeping. Maybe they’ve been trying to manage things on their own for a long time, maybe they’re starting to feel overwhelmed or “not like themselves.” Some will struggle with focus, motivation, or changes in their relationships and daily routines. Others might feel tired, on edge, or like their mind won’t slow down; and many feel nervous about reaching out for help, many worry about being judged or misunderstood. At the end of the day, they just want to feel like they are in control of their emotions and enjoy their lives… they want relief and are in need of change. ***This provider does not prescribe stimulant medications for the management of ADHD***

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to treatment is simple. I work with you as a partner. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. Instead, I take time to understand your story, your struggles, and your strengths. Together, we figure out what’s getting in the way of your well-being and we come up with a plan that fits your life and your mental health goals. I want to help you regain control, feel more balanced, and move toward the life you want. Regardless of what you’re dealing with, you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to support you, guide you, and help you build the skills you need to feel better. You deserve to feel heard and feel hopeful... I’m here to help you get there.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typically, we start the process by spending about an hour exploring your mental health history. I will then make diagnoses based on your subjective report and explain my rationale. We will discuss what it means to have said diagnoses, and how these issues are typically managed based on current standards of care, and what options for treatment include. Together we will determine priority problems that you would like to address and come up with a plan, whether that is medications, therapy or both, to get you started you on your journey to regaining control in these areas. We will meet at varying intervals, based upon your treatment needs and your comfortability with the agreed upon treatment plan. We will continue to complete assessments and evaluate your progress, adjusting the plan as we go to ensure that you are getting the most that you can from the process.

Fantastic provider. As a chronically ill person, I have seen many providers in my lifetime and Stephanie is in the top 3. She took her time to understand me and my history, explained to me how the medications work and the differences, and genuinely made me feel validated and heard. My only regret and not seeing her sooner.

I've been seeing Stephanie for a while now, and today's visit was the same quality of visits that I've been seeing her now; truly excellent. Stephanie has proven to be a deeply caring and understanding provider who's helped me through some of my most sensitive moments to date. She is very knowledgeable of the effects of different medications, and has always disclosed this medication info to me in a very thorough manner. She is encouraging, knowledgeable, and very kind. I left our visit today very satisfied and looking forward to the next time I see her. She is a provider that I can't recommend enough!
