Getting to know Stephanie Carson

Stephanie Carson is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Since joining LifeStance Health in Evansville, Indiana, in 2016, she has provided compassionate, inclusive care to patients ages 6 and older, addressing a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, OCD, psychosis/schizophrenia, PTSD/trauma, and postpartum depression. Stephanie earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana, graduating with a 3.934 GPA. She also completed her Post-Master’s PMHNP degree from Walden University with a 4.0 GPA and holds PMHNP certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner as well. Her prior roles include managing health and wellness centers and serving as an inpatient FNP on St. Vincent Hospital’s adult mental health unit.
