About Stephanie Duverge
Stephanie Duverge is a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences & Dietetics from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Nursing from Regis College. Before beginning her Nurse Practitioner journey, Ms. Duverge worked in Nurse Management. She has been practicing for three years and has experience in various specialties, including Adult Medicine and Dermatology, where she worked for a year prior to joining The Dermatology Specialists. Ms. Duverge has been serving the Bronx/Harlem community since her first NP role and is passionate about ensuring that these underserved communities receive appropriate and compassionate care whenever they encounter her. Stephanie is excited to join the team and hopes to make a meaningful impact in the communities where she will be practicing.

Came across the therapist while looking for a grief counselor. She had an availability sooner than my first choice provider so I booked with her. First 2 sessions was an assessment. On top the practice has you do an assessment prior so not sure why two needed to be done. They can provide the assessment to therapist to go over with patients. 3rd session was on life goals which was fine but it was off topic and not on grief management. 4th session she cancelled mins before. I get things happen but should of found time to make up the session. Also stated she would be on vacation for the 5th session. Wasnt such a good experience first time trying therapy.. I will look into the therapist I had in mind prior. Trial and error.

The doctor was 30 minutes late to my 9 am appointment. She did not have time to do the biopsy so she told me to come back again at 4 pm. I was on my way and got a call to come in a week later. I already confirmed at 3 pm with the office to definitely come in at 4. I complained and still continued to go to the office. Then I had to wait over an hour to be seen. The front desk was unpologetic and disrespectful of my time

I would honestly never go to this Dermatologist Specialist location ever again. I got to my appointment early to fill out my new patient paperwork. I got seated after my appointment time and did not speak to a dermatologist at all. I never saw Stephanie whatsoever. I was there for 50 mins + and only spoke to staff. I was there waiting for too long that the motion censored lights turned off and i was sitting in the dark by myself. Do not come here. I chose to see a Black specialist because i thought she’d be professional and take me seriously as a patient. Instead i wasn’t taken care of at all.

Let me start off by saying, this is my first time ever going to a dermatologist!!
Glory Be To God that I was led to this particular spot because it deserves an automatic 5 stars in my humble opinion. The staff was kind, checking in was quick, a tad bit of wait time however, that doesn’t take away from the service in it’s entirety… all quality things take time. Being that it’s in the city I was born & raised in, it’s convenient for me as well ; a 45 minute commute during pre-rush hour. Can I Now Rave About Stephanie? I Shall! As a black woman it’s difficult to find truthful, genuine, humble & humane treatment/advice…
Stephanie Duverge is phenomenal!!!! From sharing her expertise to answering my questions thoroughly and truthfully, I know that anyone who sits in with her is not only greeted with a smile and a warm presence ; you will definitely leave with more information than you anticipated.

The girl at the front is so beautiful but was in pain couldn’t talk to her. Amazing doctor she helped me out with the immense amount of pain I was experiencing and got me back to living my normal life.

African American dematologist that was professional and extremely knowlegable. She was well prepared and equiped to assese my concerns without reservations. I would highly recommend her. I have attend various dermatologist and she is the best that I have ever encountered.

Unfortunately I would not go back to her again. She says that she will call to follow up on lab results and never calls back. After leaving the office it is almost impossible to get a hold of the doctor to answer any questions or concerns. However they will be quick to bill you and say you need a follow up appointment when you never received treatment and you initial appointment. Would not recommend.
