Dr. Joseph is a clinical psychiatrist on a mission to empower individuals to live their best life by enhancing overall health and wellness. She recognizes the suffering that leads many people to seek help and aims to provide compassionate care that is collaborative, informative, solution-oriented, and comprehensive. As a psychiatrist, she is an expert in evaluating and treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders. She has extensive experience with treating Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Substance Use Disorders, as well as other Behavioral Addictions. She values collaborating with patients to develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans using multiple modalities that may include psychoeducation, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including CBT for insomnia. She also has extensive training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Dr. Joseph earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry and sociology at Vanderbilt University and her medical degree at Long School of Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. She completed her general psychiatry residency with Northwell Health at Staten Island University Hospital in New York and completed advanced training in addiction psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
