Stephanie Wang, MD, born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor prior to attending medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She continued her training at the University of Illinois for her dermatology residency where she had the privilege of serving as chief resident.

It was my first appointment with Dr.Wang. I went into her because I had some bug bite marks on my legs from the summer. I took maybe less than 3 minutes to fill out my forms and was seen right away. She was able to look at the marks and gave me multiple suggestions on how to treat it. She also asked if I wanted to talk about anything else, so I brought up my adult acne scars / inflammation. She was able to also provide suggestions. I felt like she was addressing my needs for the appointment and also opening the opportunity for me to talk about my concerns. She answered al my questions and was very polite and informative. After my appointment was done, she sent me an email of all the things we talked about. It was an amazing experience. I appreciate the follow up email a lot because sometimes I forget to write things done or just forget, but it showed that she was listening and followed through for me. I would highly recommend going to her!

Stephanie Wang was amazing and knows her stuff. I was happy to be in a place without Botox or other cosmetic ads. I always feel that other dermatologists would rather inject you with fillers than look at your weird moles. If you have real skin issues this is where I recommend going!

Dr. Wang is probably my favorite dermatologist to date. She knew her medications (which, as a pharmacist, I can tell when physicians don't), clearly laid out options and plans, and put my own concerns and decisions at the forefront of care. I also appreciated that she listened to everything I had to say and actually looked at my skin, which is something I've actually not seen from other popular dermatologists I've had. I felt very seen and heard, and that's important in any good physician.
