Stephen M. Bauer, MD is a Board-certified general and vascular surgeon specializing in all arterial and venous therapy with an emphasis on minimally invasive endovascular techniques.
While completing his residency at The University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Bauer conducted research that culminated in multiple publications and national presentations in the field of Vascular Medicine. Dr. Bauer has recently presented at both international and national meetings as well as published over twenty papers on minimally invasive endovascular techniques to treat aortic aneurysmal disease, peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins, and the medical management of patients with vascular conditions. He has become a known expert in these fields. Additionally, his interests are in carotid disease, aortic aneurysms, hemodialysis access, peripheral arterial disease, and the treatment of deep venous thrombosis. Dr. Bauer treats varicose veins using the latest minimally invasive techniques and sclerotherapy.
