I currently do not accept First Health insurance or Medi-Cal insurance, but I do accept Medicare insurance. I have been helping clients with mental health challenges for the past decade. I am very committed to delivering holistic care, taking into consideration the client's background, psychological, spiritual, and emotional well-being. I am dedicated to providing high-quality care to meet your mental health needs. I feel strongly about evidence-based practice and believe in the importance of lifelong learning and service to others, particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations that lack access to healthcare services. I am willing to listen to the challenges clients are facing and approach psychiatric challenges from a holistic point of view. This was my second virtual appointment, and I have to say, I appreciate the experience more than ever. While I often feel uncomfortable with others due to their lack of empathy and robotic demeanor, I’ve finally found a Doctor and Therapist like Stephen at 4-Therapy who is truly understanding and open-minded.
I am open about my need for help with PTSD and ADHD, and I’m dealing with the fallout of living with a narcissistic individual whose actions have caused me significant psychological harm. The gaslighting, lying, and manipulation have taken a toll on my life, but I refuse to let that define me any longer.
I chose Stephen because he exudes humility and creates a safe, comfortable atmosphere. He listens without judgment and offers genuine support, making him one of a kind.
It feels empowering to express my struggles and pain. Having a non-judgmental therapist is invaluable, and I’m grateful for Stephen’s support!

There was confusion as to the time of the appt - I had changed the time. If Steven would have contacted me earlier than less than an hour before with the time he thought the appt we this would have been cleared up. He called - I could not find CC on my phone for Google meet he did not know what closed captions ARE when I told him I needed them. When I explained he proceeded to yell. I told him I could adjust the volume, just speak slowly.
I told him I wanted to know about ADHD testing. He told me it would be difficult for me to get tested because of my age. That was the only (possibly) useful thing he said. I told him i did not want to do an intake. He persisted in asking me intrusive questions. No empathy, no compassion. When he found out I take 2 prescribed benzodiazipines he shook his head and said, "Wow." Add unprofessional to the list of reasons I would not recommend him to anyone.

This doctor successfully got me banned from my pharmacy. I have very specifically told him that I had been getting prescriptions very shortly after multiple hospitalizations and traumas back to back. I have been on a number of controlled medication‘s for verifiable diagnosis for 20 years. I know to go to one doctor and I know to go to one pharmacy in order to not be banned from CURES. I advised the doctor it was imperative that he provide me a 30 day prescription for all medication’s, and he be the ONLY prescriber forward as my report began to look messy. He refused to do so, giving me a 10 day supply “trial”in response my pharmacist called me, and advised I am no longer able to fill my prescriptions at Rite Aid, and have been officially banned. He failed to do what I knew would protect me, despite my complete transparency. For someone at end of life, this places them in immediate danger and am terrified for my safety.

Dr. Eshun is very caring doctor who really values his patient. Due to a shortage with my medication, it’s been extremely challenging to find a pharmacy who has it. His communication skills are phenomenal as he even responds to messages outside of work hours. He is very knowledgeable about medicine and his medicine regimen is perfect. Highly recommend and much more affordable than many other doctors! He is very understanding and moves very efficiently
