He earned his doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He has been in practice in Florida since 1985. Dr. Forbess founded Stirling-West Chiropractic shortly after licensure. Dr. Forbess is active with his local and state chiropractic associations. He was voted Chiropractor of the Year by his peers. He was elected and served as President of the Broward County Chiropractic Society. He has also served as President-elect, Treasurer, and Director of the local society. He is a current active Committee member of the Massage Therapy Board of the Broward County Public Schools. In the years since he was licensed, Dr. Forbess has attended over 150 educational seminars, is a certified surgeon for the Manipulation under Anesthesia procedure, certified in Whiplash injuries, and has advanced certification in CPR. Dr. Forbess is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, American Clinical Board of Nutrition, American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition, Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA), FCA Council on Orthopedics.
