About Dr. Stephen (Steve) Harris
Dr. Steve Harris' mission is to offer natural and gentle pain relief to promote a healthy lifestyle. Sugar Land Health Center is a family-owned chiropractic office that offers sophisticated technology and a variety of services such as spinal disc decompression, custom-made Class IV hot laser therapy, and gentle impulse adjusting methods. He specializes in chronic pain, disc degeneration/herniation, sciatica, migraine headaches, and pre- and post-surgical back cases.
Dr. Harris has been practicing chiropractic medicine since he graduated from Logan University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1976 and enjoys it now more than ever. He lives in Sugar Land with his wife of 40+ years, his daughter, and son-in-law, who are all involved in the practice. Dr. Harris is an active member of his church and the Sugar Land Rotary Club. He is passionate about helping others in his office, in the community, and around the world. Dr. Harris, his family, and his team take pride in providing a professional and friendly experience. First the office staff were kind, courteous, friendly and well aware of my appt. They called me by name.
Second the Dr. took his time in his reassuring voice to let me know that he could help with my problem and shared many stories of doing so. Even had a binder with the many results received from others.
I highly recommend Dr. Harris. His expertise and information is without a doubt helping me.

It is very upsetting when you feel someone took you for a ride. It is exactly what I felt when I visited this place. I came to their office with a nagging lower back pain. The front office was friendly. The doctor came in and asked a few questions and took some x-rays (using a highly "manual" machine which looked super outdated). He asked me to come the next day and did not tell me what I could do do get temporary relief. Then I see a high consultation fees which I paid. I came in the next day and their front office person asked me to sit in a room and played something on TV. In the next 15-20 minutes, the TV was playing all filmed patient stories and interviews and the transformation Mr.Harris brought to them. Brain wash marketing before the doctor comes in. Next, the doctor comes in and talks about a treatment plan and here is where his marketing pitch on his products (affiliate) and treatment services starts and never ends. I had to stop him and ask what my problem is and why he was going on talking about treatment without explaining what the root cause is for the pain I had at that time. He was still beating around the bush. He did some math on his calculator and said what the treatment plan costs. All this without him explaining what the cause of the pain I was experiencing is. When I asked him how he could show before and after difference after the treatment scientifically, he did not have a good answer. Anyways, I left this place without knowing what is the root cause for my pain and still paying high consultation fees and wasting my time. Never again and dont recommend!

Extremely professional staff, I felt very comfortable & came in with an 8 on the pain scale, (10 being the worst) and left at a 5! I'm sure after a few more treatments I will be pain free.

The staff was very professional and friendly. I went in hurting and left with no pain in my lower back. I go regularly and would go anywhere else for treatment.
