Following her doctoral training, she completed an intensive one-year psychiatric residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island Hospital in New York, where she gained specialized experience treating complex psychiatric disorders and serving culturally diverse patient populations. Throughout her career, Dr. Oparaugo has focused on expanding access to high-quality mental health services and reducing barriers to psychiatric care. Her clinical experience includes outpatient psychiatry, community mental health, integrated behavioral health, and telepsychiatry. She has worked with patients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other complex mental health concerns.
