Awesome. He was fantastic.
Great appointment- was taken in to see Dr. B right at my scheduled time. He was extremely friendly and attentive to my concerns/issues. I would definitely recommend to others needing specialty care.
Dr B gave me a very good first time impression. He is very amicable and knowledgeable in his field. His staffs are very friendly and respectful of their patients. I will recommend his practice to friends and family.
I love Dr Bielamowicz, mostly because he understands the unique concerns singers like me have to confront. He truly listens and knows how to treat voice-related issues. However, and this is no reflection on him, but the wait time was too long. I arrived 15 mins early for my 1:30 appointment and didn't see him until 2:30. And it took almost a month to get an appointment to begin with. Also, I had to fill out new patient forms that turned out to be unnecessary since I'm an existing patient.
Good: Dr. B was awesome. Friendly and patient and answered my many questions. Felt like working with a true pro. Needs improvement: Front office staff was alright, not stellar. PLEASE figure out how to take Zocdoc paperwork rather than make patients fill out forms from scratch.
Office staff was courteous and helpful. Dr. Bielamowicz is very friendly and I was out of the office in 30 minutes. Very pleased. Of course, I will have to wait to see if the buzzing in my ear goes away before I know if he treated me properly or not! :-)
Dr. B. was very affable, and very expert. He diagnosed and corrected my ear problem in no time at all.
I actually ended up with Dr Arjun Joshi as he deals with the issue I having. Saw him instead, didn't have to make a new appointment
Dr. Bielamowicz focuses on vocal problems, but he is listed as a general ENT on zocdoc. Despite that, he still saw me for my allergy problems. He is very personable and very sweet and actually genuinely cares about your condition whatever it may be. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!
He really takes the time to sit down and explain everything with you and never seems rushed. Highly recommend.
First of all, the appointment was changed to 7/21. I'm surprised you don't have ways to track such changes. Secondly, GW Medical Faculty Associates presents the typical Washington mix of well-trained & competent professionals and support staff whose limited competence and poor training are the product of low pay scales and the inadequacy of DC schools. The support staff in this office didn't seem to know anything about ZocDoc, which means that filling out the forms online was a waste of time; I had to do them all over again by hand. Once I was in the hands of medical professionals things improved dramatically. Dr B and the intern who worked with him listened carefully, explained things clearly and came up with a strategy that made sense.
I thought it was a good appointment. Dr. Bielamowicz and the resident asked good questions for back up and the procedure (scoping my vocal cords) went well. I understand what the diagnosis is and will take next steps accordingly.
The Dr. B was extremely helpful. He listened carefully to my medical history, and provided well-informed, thoughtful insights. I highly recommend him and his team.
He diagnosed me quickly, explained it all, and had great bedside manner.
Dr. Bielamowicz was very thorough in examination, asking pertinent questions and explaining his approach in language that was clear and respectful. He is personable but not overly talkative , obviously a careful scholar while not self-important or impatient with an older patient. I trust his knowledge, his judgment, and his human concern.
He one of the best doctors I have ever seen.
Dr. B is a good listener. He gave me helpful information. We are following up with treatment pending insurance approval.
He's a great doctor who takes the time to talk to you and really listens. Doesn't feel rushed and feels like he cares. Also performed a procedure and it went great.
Outstanding doctor who knows his stuff AND takes the time to listen/respond to his patients' concerns.
Very pleased. I actually have a diagnosis and something I can try to help improve, if not cure, my situation. Kind, knowledgable and even funny (in appropriate fashion).
Very patient, listened to everything I was concerned about and then walked me through the results of his exam. Easy to speak with and clearly explained his diagnosis
The doctor was great, and the treatment was speedy. However, his receptionist was brusque and not very welcoming.
He's such an amiable and supremely competent professional. I know that he will heal me. I know that I'm in tremendous hands.
He was great.
He was very nice, prompt and understanding. Offered me a helpful referral. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Bielamowicz is the consummate professional; he is an authority on the voice and has a kind bedside manner. I drove three hours to see him and knew it was would be worth it!
My visit with Dr. Bielamowicz was pleasant and informative. I visited him initially because I thought he specialized in speech pathology services; I had been having issues with vocal fatigue and soreness. He explained that people typically visited him if they were going the surgical route to correct vocal issues. Once I explained that I wanted to focus more on proper vocal production to correct my issue, he directed me to actual speech pathologists in the area that could better assist me.
I have seen him from time to time over the past ten years or so and found him to be very professional yet have a good bedside manner. For the last two times he has a resident and a medical student see me first -- this was fine with me.
Very insightful. More help than I initially expected.
Dr Bielamowicz is a great doctor, especially because he understands not only the human voice, but also the importance singers like I place on having a quality instrument. Singing is a professional issue for me, and having Dr Bielamowicz treat me helps tremendously. I'd recommend him to anyone.
I was very impressed with Dr. B. I got in early and he was not late to see me. He had an excellent bedside manner and didn't try to force any procedure on me. He was thorough and very nice.
D. B. was so caring as was his staff. He took time to explain my diagnosis and even assessed all my current medicines, seemed genuinely interested in me and my problem. Even complimented me on my writing, there were many forms to fill out. The video of my vocal cords was painless and Dr. B. took time for a thorough exam. My only wish is that the office could be or would be closer to Olney!
The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. He listened to my explanation of all my symptoms and recommended a course of care, and he knew my history. He is a great doctor and I am encouraged about my recovery.
I thought he was very freindly, professional, and his concern for my condition was genuine. He explained to me and showed me what was wrong with my vocal cords , and prescribed a treatment to aid in my recovery.
Appreciated this office from the beginning; Dr B's staff was great in getting me an initial patient appointment, physical location was pleasant and clean, parking was easy Dr. B himself was very thorough in his exam, and genuinely cared about my health and well being. Took all the time with me that I felt was necessary.
