About Dr. Steven Albert
Certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1985, Dr. Albert has served as Assistant Attending Radiologist at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center since 1986. He completed his fellowship in body and musculoskeletal imaging at Yale University - New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Albert has written chapters in orthopedic textbooks and lectured on imaging techniques in sports medicine. His earlier research and publications were in the field of ischemia and fluid management at Cornell University Medical College's Department of Surgery.
A member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha, as well as a Summa Cum Laude graduate, he received his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed a surgical internship and radiology residency at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
