About Dr. Steven E. Goldwasser
Steven E. Goldwasser, MD, is a board-certified ob-gyn in Jacksonville, Florida that specializes in urogynecology. Dr. Goldwasser received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed a fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. From 2000 to 2006, he served as Assistant Professor and Chief of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Florida Health Center. In January of 2011, Dr. Goldwasser joined the team at Women’s Care.
Dr. Goldwasser is actively involved in the development of new surgical techniques, as well as other medical devices. He also has one of the largest ongoing databases tracking surgical outcomes with graft augmentation in pelvic reconstructive surgery. In the local community, Dr. Goldwasser is active in educating women on urogynecological issues, has appeared on WJCT’s Health Matters, and has spoken at various events, such as Speaking of Women’s Health and Baptist Health’s lunch-and-learn forums.

Wonderful doctor and very good staff. Dr. Goldwasser was recommended to me and so glad I went to see him. Had several issues and required surgery. He has a great manner, very kind and patient Explained everything to me and my daughter about condition and the surgery. Had the surgery on Aug 4, 2020, which went well. Minimal pain and pretty short recovery time. Feel great.. Would highly recomment!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr Goldwasser spent a ton of time with me. He went over all the testing I brought him piece by piece. He explained more in one visit than 3 visits at another office. I really felt like he enjoyed teaching. I would definitely recommend him!

Everything about this appointment was not only professional, informative, and courteous but set my mind at ease. Having this medical handicap is unnerving and they made me feel at ease, putting my concerns to rest.
