About Steven Imgrund

His approach to care begins with a thorough initial assessment, including health history, assessment of physical indicators, and lab testing to identify nutrition insufficiencies and physiologic patterns linked to clinical imbalances. He works to empower his clients on their health journey, guiding them through individualized dietary and lifestyle interventions as well as strategic supplementation. Steve works with clients struggling with weight loss, metabolic concerns such as high blood sugar, blood pressure, or high cholesterol, as well as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), autoimmune conditions such as IBD, and environmental issues such as mold exposure/mold-related illness. As a personal trainer, Steve worked with many individuals who were failed by the conventional system of medicine and knew he needed more education. Wanting to go much deeper than simply diet and exercise, he transitioned into functional nutrition in 2018 after earning his master's degree in human nutrition, completing 1,000 hours of clinical mentorship in functional nutrition in 2020, and passing a board exam before applying for state licensure. Steve is driven by the opportunity to educate and empower his clients, allowing them to take back control of their health and reclaim the power over their lives. Beyond his professional endeavors, Steve can be found at the gym or on the jujitsu mats, having earned his purple belt in 2023, practicing the guitar, or exploring the Chicagoland area with his fiancée and dog.
