He was very nice and sweet!!!
He patiently listened to all of my concerns, was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
I liked Dr. Kushnick. He has an easy way about him but is forthright and friendly. The office staff was efficient and jovial. Kinda made up for the office being in a dreadful hospital environment.
Dr. Kushnick was wonderful.
Great doctor and genuinely friendly guy. Made my unseemly visit to the ear doctor a genuine pleasure!
I did not feel Dr. Steven Kushnick took my chronic sinus pain seriously. He took a 10 second look with a camera and declared "looks fine to me." He shot local anesthesia into my nose with telling me what he was doing, or, and this is big, checking whether I had any allergies to anesthesias, which I do.
I am very glad.
Friendly professional warm
He was fine.
Short wait. Great doctor
Nice guy. Knowledgeable and went through extensive measures to make sure all was well or the road to it.
The wait time was long, but once I got into the exam room, Dr. Kushnick was pleasant, informative, and very helpful.
It was a pleasure meeting with Dr. Kushnick. From the time I entered into his office I felt comfortable and at ease. The office was clean and welcoming and the staff was friendly. After completing paperwork (3 minutes) I met with Dr. Kushnick; he has a pleasant smile and wonderful beside manners. I would definetly return to his office and or recommend him to friends and family.
The waiting was exorbitantly long even though I made an appointment and got there in time, and no one else was there. The doctor is polite but did not get any detailed description of what might be wrong.
Efficient, professional. I would go back. The waiting room and office staff were not very pleasant, though.
I had never been to an ENT. I saw that he was the first doctor that could see me after I started feeling nauseous when blowing my nose at work. (TMI) Dr. Kushnick was really fabulous! He was thorough with his examination and made sure to caution me of how his procedures would feel and asked if I felt any discomfort after each. I definitely recommend him with the highest regards!
Dr. Kushnick was very friendly and let me know everything that would happen.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Friendly staff as well.
Had a positive experience. Dr Kushnick was thorough & walked me through what was wrong.
The doctor was very pleasant and not too abrupt with me during my appointment as well as during the follow up call I made to the office a few days later.
Quick, Easy, and Efficient
Friendly and helpful good attitude ????
Dr. Kushnick was great! Didn't have to wait too long, he was very sweet, and he cleared up my ear problem quickly. Just get there a little early--the elevators are slow.
he thought that is he is professional atleast that much like manhattan younger doctors and all the equipments should be more upto date he looked into my nose for devated septem without and equipment very poor office
Great at listening to my symptoms and not pushing patients through like many doctors. Friendly staff as well.
Had a positive experience with Dr Kushnick. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and had bedside manner.
He was great! Quite thorough, really nice, very informative, and fun to talk with.
I had a very pleasant visit with Dr. Kushnick. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He even took the time to get to know me a little. Highly recommended.
It was extremely helpful quick and easy. Dr K is professional and excellent!
Great doctor, informed, friendly, explained everything clearly and helped fix the problem!
Great guy. He performed surgery on my deviated septum, and did a decent job. It took about 3 months to get the full benefits, supposedly since the swelling takes awhile to go down. It was definitely a life changing experience for me (worth it).
he diagnosed my problem and explained in detail what was going on inside
Dr Kushnick was kind, extremely personable and has a great sense of humor!
doctor kushnick's office is very well organized. you will never wait more than 15 minutes to be seen by him. he gave me excellent care through out my diagnosis and surgery. he readily avaliable if i ever needed to reach him. I would always recommend him to my friends and family.
Dr Kushnick took his time to diagnose the pain I had in my ear, answered my questions and kept me comfortable and relaxed (with humor) when doing the small procedure i needed to have. Since it was my first time, I asked one of his staff if the wait is always that long. She apologized and told me there had been some emergency appointments.
He is very good Dr..
The doctor was great. His support team left a ton to be desired. In general, they were rude, spoke poorly about patients in public, did nothing to manage the front desk and seemed indignant when patients asked about the delay. I waited 1.5 hours to see the doctor and received no apology or explanation. Such a shame that such a good doctor is so poorly represented.
He was very kind quick and helpful!
Dr. kushnick appeared to be very professional and answered all my questions regarding my ear issue, he even provided me with preventative recommendations.
Very nice person, helpful and responsible with the health of his patients. Great experience.
The wait line was too long.
Dr Kushnick was very nice & very professional. He got to the bottom of the problem very fast & came up with a solution.
This doctor seems very knowledgeable, but I waited 2 hours to see him for 10 minutes! then was told I have to call back and make an appointment for another test because the audiologist went home. If I was seen on time I could have done it all in one day. Also, if I hadn't badgered him with questions I don't think I would have understood what he was talking about. All in the meantime, I'm concerned I may have permanent hearing damage.
I felt a bit rushed by Dr. Kushnick. I have had an on going problem and I have seen several doctors and he wasn't able to talk to him about my concerns without him cutting me off. The other issue i had was he was very heavy handed with me when he was examining my ears and nose. He used a numbing spray but it was still really intense. All in all i probably would not recommend Dr. Kushnick. His bedside manner was fair, but the wait was 1hr+ and then i didn't feel like he really listened to me.
It was good. The doctor listened to me and did a through exam before recommending treatment. He explained his findings and answered my questions. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and inspired trust.
After I waited for over an hour, Dr Kushnick finally saw me but the appointment was extremely rushed and he finished the appointment in less than five minutes. I had to get ear wax removed as per my audiologist, but he disregarded that, said I was fine, and rushed me out the door.
Dr. Kushnick was very pleasant. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and seemed to care about his patients' well being. The office staff were very pleasant. However there was no soap by the sinks. There was plenty of anti-bacterial gel, but there was NO SOAP even in the BATHROOMS and EXAM ROOMS. I mentioned it to someone, and they said that the cleaning staff had removed the paper towels and soap after patients put paper towels in the toilet instead of the garbage. I mentioned it to the doctor. He seemed surprised and said he'd bring some in himself. All of his instruments seemed properly cleaned and sanitized, but an ENT's office ought to eagerly strive for excellent hand hygiene of all its staff. I did not go back. I certainly would have if the soap thing hadn't turned me off. I hope they have since dealt with this issue.
Dr. Kushnick was very business like, attentive and explained what he was doing and why. I would go back to him as i appreciate the no nonsense approach.
I waited for over two hours for no information or help. I went in for allergies and wasted an entire afternoon and didn't get anything from it. Do not go here.
He was awesome. Very informative and got straight to the point
He took the time to throughly explain my condition
Dr. Kushnick was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. My only minor complaint would be that my wait felt long-I was seen about 40 minutes after my appointment time.
Very pleasant professional office. Dr. Could not have been better
Dr. Kushnick was very friendly, funny, and got the job done. I can hear clearly again!
Dr. Kushnick was very acurate and took time to listen to me. a lot of doctors does not have the patience. He does!.
Office staff very friendly and helpful. Doc was easy to talk to and very thorough
The hospital looked like something out of a horror movie. The waiting room was even worse. The rude woman at the front desk had the same answer to every question that I asked: "I don't know" (but picture it being said in a nasty tone of voice). My appointment was at 4pm and I didn't get seen until 5:15pm. Why do they even take appointments? They should just say "come in and put your name at the bottom of a long list of people and wait in a dirty sweaty waiting room and maybe you'll get seen". The doctor: He did have a very nice demeanor, but I was disappointed with the treatment I received. He looked inside my ear and said it looked "perfect" after I explained to him that I've had on and off infections and swelling for months. After I insisted that there was definitely something wrong with my ear, he told me to take decongestants. I'm not a doctor, but I had a feeling that they might interfere with another medication I was taking (this medication was clearly listed on the chart I filled out). Low and behold, I found out through the internet and through other doctors, that decongestants do in fact interfere with my medication. It's a good thing I did my own research and asked for a second opinion or I may have been at risk for a heart attack or seizure. Thanks, doc.
Very good doctor but too busy
Dr. Kushnick was helpful and has good bedside manner, but I was left to wait more than two hours because they were backlogged from having had an emergency earlier in the day. No one at front desk communicated that with me and I had to keep asking when my turn would be, without receiving an answer.
Great doctor. Very thorough. Quick assessment and good prescription. Would definitely recommend.
Doc was great. Funny and thorough.
He is wonderful! Be prepared to wait a long time.
Disappointed ZocDoc information was not sent to doctor. Had to fill out paper work. They were not aware of my appointment which is why my wait time was over an hour.
Dr. Kushnick had a great bed side manner which a lot of physicians lack today. More importantly, I was seen quickly.
Dr. Kushnick was great - nice bedside manner, cordial, and I felt confident in his care. My issue was minor (clogged ear and ear infection) so there wasn't much to it - he cleaned out the ear and gave me an antibiotic - but it was all in all a pleasant experience and I would recommend him. I saw lots of complaints about office wait time, so I took my laptop and worked on the free wifi while I waited...I was about 15 minutes early for my appointment and was seen approximately 40 minutes after I arrived. Not great, but not awful. Once I saw him I was in and out in 10 minutes.
Great bedside manner and he solved my problem. Long wait, but was worth it!
I've had sinus issues throughout my life and this was my first time seeing an ENT outside the physician group I grew up as a patient in. Dr. Kuchnick was easy to talk to, sure to review my medical history in detail, and able to diagnose my problem through a thorough exam. I felt comfortable in his care, and trust his expertise. Additionally, the hearing exam technician was lovely also made my feel comfortable throughout. Though his office and the building at TBHC is older and a little worn down, the care was top notch. I would just remind future patients to withhold judgement while waiting, the staff clearly know what they're doing.
I had wax build up in my ears he flushed them and took his time to remove it he did a great job my hearing is back on point ya heard!lol...
Office is in a bad neighborhood and you're basically a guinea pig for medical students. Avoid
Best ENT doctor. Would highly recommend.
Ever one was great
I truly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Kushnick. He was quick, professional, precise and friendly. Highly recommended!
Dr. Kushnick was profesional and relaxing at the same time. Excellent bedside manner with a realness to each persons personality. He knows his stuff.
I had been having problems with my ears during plane flights. Dr. Kushnick examined me and gave me a few tips to use on my next flight. I'll see if it helps!
Waited for two hours to get a minute of his attention. Also he send me to other clinic, for which he didn't give me referral. He said I don't need it. But when I went to the clinic I actually need it. Than I called office. They were constantly putting me on hold. They promised to fax referral. I was waiting for two hours and didn't get anything. So I waisted day of my life waiting.
He is a gentleman and a very awesome doctor, i am from india and my throat infection was very bad but now it is my third day of treatment and his medicine is superb and now m feeling very better, he is a very good doctor , when i asked for this help to confirm the medicine then with in half an hour he called me , he is very attached with all of his patients that i can clearly see. god bless you doctor :)
Horrible! Don't do this to yourself! They schedule way more people than they can take. The minimum wait time is 2 hours and when you ask the receptionist about the amount of time you need to wait, she just tells you to reschedule if you can't wait. The doctor is super nice and efficient but he is not worth the wait. I WILL NEVER RETURN again.
Very professional and clean I would recommend this office to anyone
I went to Dr. Kushnick's office with my toddler son and I felt like the wait was forever then again my son wasn't on his best behavior (it was naptime) otherwise everyone was very professional and it was our initial consultation so we had paperwork to fill out so that may have contributed to the wait. I was very satisfied and glad that I went and plan to go back only as needed. Thank you Zocdoc for helping me find this physician
I thought Dr. Kushnick very capable and confident. He had good bedside manner and dealt with my issue quickly and to my satisfaction. However, I have been billed for a co-pay already paid in the office and that is detracting from my experience. If a resolution is reached quickly and to my satisfaction, then I will revise my review. However, medical bills are a major problem/issue related to quality of health care and this should not happen.
I had a great experience at dr kushnick's office
Dr Kushnick did his best to be quick and efficient, but the 2.5 hour wait is absurd and the waiting room is a chaotic madhouse, where the counter attendants frequently disappear after announcing much shorter wait times. Why not simply schedule less people and in turn see everyone on time?
Great doc. But the wait that day was unreal
sUe had too many patients & he didn't apologize that wait was so long. He seemed like doctor that was overworked by the hospital. He is only ENT doc in Bklyn Hospital. I would have liked to ask more questions but my visit was maybe maximum 15 min. I waited 3 hours all together but left office 4 hours later. He sprays nose with something that numbs your nose mouth etc. then ask u back inside office where he examines you. nder some other circumstance he may have different bedside manners. He was cordial.
The wait was way to long.
The staff was wonderful, the doctor was great, and the wait time was short. I recommend Dr. Kushnick.
He was a professional and told you what the problem was right away! He gives you multiple options to your illness and was very nice!
He is a great Doctor. Expert in his field; very smart; took the time to explain things and a very warm, nice person.
Excellent. Great with my children
Excellent Dr. very thorough.
I arrived fifteen minutes early for my appointment and waited two hours and thirty minutes before being seen. The receptionist was very nice, but the "nurse" who brings you to the back, takes height and weight (not sure what for at an ENT), and books follow-up appointments was incredibly rude. Next, Dr. Kushnick has interns with him who just stand and gawk at you during your appointment. He didn't even ask if it would be okay. Additionally, the facilities were disgusting and out of date. Upon seeing the doctor, he told me I was fine, even though I explained pretty sever symptoms. He wrote a prescription for ear drops, and sent me on my way. This office was totally unprofessional and unsanitary. I wouldn't suggest anyone go here. Especially for something as sensitive as ENT.
I heeded the feedback left by others and brought a book, expecting a long wait time. Actual wait time was 45 minutes past the appointment time and I was prepared, so I didn't really mind it much. Exam was thorough, he asked good questions, gave me the answers I needed about my condition. Would definitely see him again for any ear/nose/throat related issues.
So amazing! Really helpful. He even called a few days later (on a Sunday no less) to check in on me and make sure I was better.
Very nice doctor and staff
The experience was great Dr.kushnick was wonderful made me feel comfortable for my first visit with and ENT doctor.
Took an early afternoon appointment, was seen in about 20 minutes, and had my concerns addressed quickly and thoroughly. Saw the audiologist as well...she was great - very pleasant to work with.
Dr. Kushnick was pleasant and professional. I did not appreciate the wait. I had a 1:45 p.m. appointment and was not seen until 3:40 p.m., and no one on staff messaged anything about delays to those of us waiting in the reception area. I don't know if ZocDoc overbooked, or if someone called in absent, but regardless, it would be nice if the receptionists could be more honest and transparent about delays with patients. Again, Dr. Kushnick was excellent.
He was great! Took his time and listened to our concerns! Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely return and recommend to all friends and family!
While the wait to be called was a bit long, he was efficient and friendly. While he didn't take more time than necessary, I didn't feel rushed or that I couldn't ask questions that I wanted to. t liked him very much.
Great. He took his time and explained everything to me in full.
Went to Brooklyn hospital, probably worst hospital I've been to. The general hospital conditions weren't at all good. Went to see Dr Kushnick for neck surgery consultation when I finally got seen he simply referred me to an actuall plastic surgeon.
Dr Kushnick was very pleasant & professional. He made me feel at ease & relieved my impacted ear within mere minutes. Thank you!
Very very good. I researched Dr. Kushner by using Zoc Doc. I had been to other ENT's before and dissatisfied with the results and claims. The information Dr. Kushner gave me, made sense and alleviated my concern. The equipment for th hearing test is superior comparing to the places where I have taken it. Great doctor.
Very nice and caring doctor and staff
Doctor Kushnick was friendly enough, but didn't actually seem to be listening to me describe my issue. He then ordered a hearing test that his office didn't approve with my insurance company, resulting in a large unnecessary bill for me. I will never return to this office.
I was very pleased with the visit. He was extremely professional. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that he wasn't in the office when I got there so the wait was a little long. Other then that I really wouldn't mind going back to him.
I arrived early and was seen on time. Dr. Kushnick had a wonderful bedside manner. He explained each set of the procedure and recommended steps I could take to avoid my issue in the future.
Great dr. Very child friendly made my 5 yr old very comfortable. I will also go to Dr. Kubrick for my ENT needs. Will be back soon.
Kushnick was awesome. I was able to book an appointment with him at 2pm for a 3:45pm slot for a bad ear infection. He was very kind and professional. I will definitely come back if I ever need anything ENT related.
He could not diagnose my outer ear infection, which spread and got worse over the next week causing incredible pain.
Courteous, helpful, and nice.
Great doctor. Really long wait time.
I really liked Dr. Kushnick. He was very friendly and personable and the visit was quick but seemed thorough. The only downside was that the office is a bit run-down and I had to wait about 40 minutes after my appointment before being seen.
Very long wait but the doctor himself is excellent.
The doctor was excellent, i would highly recommend this Dr. I wish most of my Dr was like him. He was very friendly, informative, great Lister etc most Dr dont give you time to talk and discuss the reason for yr visit. I rate him a 10 out of 10. Jade Paris app date was today 3/ 13/2015
I think he was excellent, had great energy and very great with children. My 3 children left the visit in great spirits ??His staff were wonderful as well
I really like Dr. Kushnik - just be prepared for a wait. Both times I've been to his office I've waited 1 - 1.5 hours. He's really nice, though, and very efficient once you see him.
Very professional and very nice
This was my first visit, which may have contributed to a longer wait time. Dr. Kushnick was great--knowledgeable, friendly and generous with his time even late on a Friday afternoon. Good overall experience.
The Doctor is great but books multiple overlapping appointments. I waited nearly 2 hours and there were people in the waiting room that definitely waited over 2 hours. Please consider changing your booking policy!
it was a really good visit. Good bedside manners and very professional.
It's always disappointing to wait over two hours when you make an 'appointment'. Whilst I appreciate the professional was making conversation to put me at ease, I feel it went a bit far and was unnecessary, and probably collectively added to the extrememly long wait.
It went well. He was courteous, personable and delicate. He was also very welcoming and made me feel at ease. Overall, a very good experience. Will be going back to him.
I had a sinus infection on a holiday and was desperate to see a specialist. Dr. Kushnick was in Brooklyn and had appointments that afternoon. I waited in the office for two hours past my appointment time, figured I would have to wait a week to see my regular doctor so I would stick it out. Dr. Kushnick was very pleasant once I saw him and I'm grateful I was able to get the antibiotics I needed, but I will not be scheduling a follow up here.
Once I got in to see Dr. Kushnick I was very happy. He put me at my ease immediately, he was very positive in his appraisal of my situation, very clear about what he was doing, and when I left I felt that he had done everything possible to help. Everyone in the office, lab techs, office staff, even the other patients were very cordial. The down side. I expect to wait at a doctor's office, but the nearly-two-hour wait was too much.
Dr. Kushnick and his staff were very professional, thorough, and took their time when seeing me. Nothing but good things to say about the experience, except I had a wait time of about 40 minutes. Once I was called back, it moved relatively quickly and smoothly. High quality care overall!
Really thorough and friendly. Asked a lot of questions and didn't make me feel uncomfortable.
He was accurate in diagnosing a nasal problem and had a medical student observing. He was very informative and able to teach the student at the same time.
i made an appointment on zocdoc and arrived on time. i did this twice and both times it was a first come first served basis. i didnt mind much because i only had to wait 30 maybe 45 minutes. after that i was in and out of the doctors office quickly with him addressing all my issues. i have made him my family's permanent ANT doctor.
I am very disappointed with that doctor. treatment was very upsetting and unkind
It was very busy when I went there. but they were very thorough in checking me out and the hearing test.
He sent me off to get a prescription knowing that my insurance didn't cover it when he could have gave me a shot that would have been covered! Complete scam
I felt as though this Doctor wanted be out the door as soon as I came in. He was not forthcoming with information about my condition and encouraged me to take tests that were questionable as to whether I needed to take them or not. I had to ask a lot of questions, and I at times did not get a clear response, especially with billing information. After multiple visits and monies billed, this doctor came across as not worth it.
I waited for over an hour only to be rushed through my examination. He would ask me about my ear infection and then cut me off before I was finished with my answers. A doctor should never cut off a patient especially when the patient is describing his symptoms. I overheard him saying that his wife was going to kill him for being late for dinner. So what does he do? Spend literally about 8 minutes talking and examining me and then immediately prescribes antibiotics without any type of discussion. I wait over an hour for this guy who then in my opinion mistreats his patients because he's late for dinner? I will never go back.
He was very pleasant could not ask for better
Dr. Steven was extremely friendly and quickly put me at ease. Hands down the best bedside manner I've ever experienced. If you need an ENT look no further!
I went in for a routine ear cleaning. My left ear was severely clogged after I went for a swim in a spring on vacation. I came back after my vacation still deaf in one ear w/ ringing in my ear, very annoying. I waited my turn in the office and when he came in to see me, he was quick and efficient about it. And witty and kind at the same time. Very pleasant dr. visit.
Excellent, very pleasant, listened to my complaints. Very happy and will recommend him to family and friends.
The appt was for my 9 yr old son and the doctor was very friendly and explained the examine step by step and for a child going to the doctor they need that the wait wasnt long at all considering i was ten minutes late and had forms to fill out as well the only negative was the structure of the waiting room there arent enough seating and its cramped but that is due to the fact that the office space is shared with doctors in other fields as well such as audiology so seating is very much limited other then that i would recommend his services
Fantastic. Great doctor!!! Very attentive.
All went well
The visit was fine and the Dr. Is very professional and listens well. However, I feel like he could have done more test to find out the cause of my symptoms. I'm still not feeling well, and I have no clue as to what is the issue.
Left me waiting for an hour and a half before even bringing me into the exam room.
It was fast, easy and convenient.
Great job. Cleared my ear problem quickly.
Dr Kushnick was friendly and knowledgeable. The wait was short. But with only two elevators in a 19 story building, allow extra time for waiting in the lobby.
Very professional while being personable as well. Courteous staff; I'd definitely recommend Dr. Kushnick to anyone who asked.
I called before traveling to the office and somebody picked up. Two thumbs up for that. There was a bit of a wait.. But it was decent considering the office was pretty packed. There is a huge waiting area, which is separated into two sides. Although the dr does see young patients, he doesn't have anything to entertain them (toys or tv on kids channel). Bring your own stuff from home to keep your child occupied and distracted from waiting. The time with the dr is a breeze, make sure to ask questions and understand everything before you leave the office. But if you don't, no biggie. You can call and speak to a real person :)
Great bedside manner. Very long wait almost 2 hours.
Dr. Kushnick was very attentive and descriptive. I felt comfortable explaining what my problems were.
Dr Steven Kushnick is a great doctor. He diagnose my problem right away and administered a treatment plan. He was attentive, answered all of my questions, and addressed my concerns. I have visited his office quite a few times and the wait time varied from a few minutes to an hour. His staff processes patients timely and professionally.
My daughter was taken right away. The staff was very lovely and Dr. Kushnick was excellent. Will return.
I thought he was very professional , and he explained everything that I need to know
Staff wasn't helpful call for directions they wasn't helpful they gave a terrible attitude
Dr. Kushnick was very professional and friendly. I was seen within 10 minutes and was explained what was wrong with my ear in detail so I understood. I would make him my primary ENT. TOTALLY recommended A++
The wait was worth it, once they called my name I was seen immediately and Dr. Kushnick was all business, we shmoozed for about 30 seconds and then he asked me what was wrong, I told him (my ears were clogged), he immediately went to work and I was out of there in 10 minutes. I'll be back.
Short wait not many people front desk was pleasant . Doctor was very knowledgeable overall good visit will see again if need too!
The secretary was running out the door. Also, they will refuse you if you don't have your insurance card.
Waiting room was a disaster. I waited an hour and a half, but he is a tentative doctor and a good person.
Doctor was good, but one hour wait is ridiculous.
A good doctor! Wait was long but typical Brooklyn Hospital wait....
The office is crowded and drabby but Dr. Kushnik is very attentive and diagnosed my problem very quicky and accurately. He told me what I had was something many patients were coming in with, so that's how he knew. Overall a very good and humorous doctor who is not too far from where I live.
He drained my ears and I was amazed how much better my hearing was immediately. He was very nice.
No wait. Very comprehensive visit with hearing test and all. I was impressed. Dr. Kushnick was very nice and the visit was pleasant.
I didn't believe his instruments were kept very sanitary. Office lobby was full of trash, I waited an hour and a half to be seen.
Very friendly doctor, who solved my problem quickly and thoroughly.
They must have given a million people that same appointment time...awful..just awful....no regards for people time..Really disrespectful to treat patients.
Very long wait time but the doctor himself is great.
He was fantastic - diagnosed my issue right away and was extremely kind and friendly.
No complaints at all. It was the best appointment I had in years.
He was friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about me and my sore ear. He asked lots of thorough questions, and prescribed me a better set of meds than the urgent care facility did, and informed me that there was a better brand of amoxicillin that worked more effectively than the one I had, he even gave me cotton balls to protect my ear and directed me to the closest pharmacy. The wait was long and the waiting room was warm, but Im glad I endured, seeing him was worth it!
diagnosed and treated my problem within 30 minutes!
I think he is very Knowledgeable in the field, I visited him at Brooklyn hospital did not that 240 Willoughby was a hospital got there the wait was very long, he was not friendly or personable, waited two hours saw him for 3 minutes and was hustled out of the office, he was rushing through patients sad... I was disappoint but was told he has another office in the city was will probably be better... long story short the wait was too long and the reception seem very unhappy and unfriendly
I thought he was good, quick, and not condescending. He explained things very clearly. He seemed knowledgeable and I'm glad I went to him for a second opinion about my daughter's ear.
Very succinct. Once I Saw the Dr. It went rather quickly. ..I knew what I needed and he knew as well...
I had my visit in between classes and was worried that I would be late for my next class. I was seen in less than 30 minutes and still had time to grab lunch. Dr. Kushnick was quick and to the point.
friendly, not a long wait, thorough
A long wait time, may have just been a busy day. Dr. Kushnick was easy to talk to.
Dr. Kushnick was very professional, cordial, friendly and comfortable to be around. I would highly recommend him again!
He is extremely helpful and genuinely a nice guy. I would highly reccomend him.
I thought Dr. Kushnick was friendly and skilled. I was sitting in the exam room 10 minutes after i arrived AND i was a new patient. He made small talk and put me at ease. Not a bad visit at all.
Despite being seen over an hour after my appointment time, I had a great experience with Dr.Kushnick. He is attentive, personable, and professional. I had come in for a consultation on my deviated septum, and he actually corrected things i didn't even know were wrong! Worth the wait!
Dr Kushnick was very knowledgable about his job and he answer all my question, I will highly recommend him.
Professional and courteous. He listened to my situation and handled it accordingly. Much appreciated and would definitely return. Thanks!
My visit was very pleasant. Everyone was professional and the doctor was great. I had an excellent experience. I will definitely be returning.
Dr. Kushnick was efficient and thorough. He explained the procedure, and he helped me feel better. I will return.
I went to Dr. Kushnick for the first time and was amazed by his charm. He was very patient and kind and did not make me feel rushed one bit. Nowadays It's very hard to find a doctor who shows he cares. I will definitely go back to him.
Receptionist could have been a little more pleasant.
The office isn't the nicest but the doctor was great.
Very professional easy to talk to any very nice . Would recommend him to others
Office stuff was awful. Doctor was ok. I think Doctor need to change his front desk help, she was very rude.
long wait time but he is personable
Very intelligent and caring
He is not a caring person. His agenda was to get rid of his patients as soon as possible. He dresses like he is going to a club and not a doctors office.
He was thorough, comforting, and knowledgable about my issues. I would recommend him to anyone.
Very good doctor.
Had a very good experience all around. Would recommend.
He was very professional and quick. I will definitely use him in the future.
He was very professional, straight to the point, his bedside manner was excellent.
I went for ear cleaning, no wait super fast, Dr. Kushnick was really nice and did a great job...
It was just OK. After treating me, the doctor made small talk, but failed to inform me that I may experience cold sweats, nausea, and dizziness. I sat down and then he asked me twenty questions about nothing.
Only complaint I do have is that he seemed to be in a rush. I appreciate that fact that he wanted to work fast and get everyone out in a quick manner but I noticed that as I was talking to him, he was answering txt msgs (not really listening to my issues). There would be times I'm speaking and he would cut me off mid sentence. Maybe it was a hectic day for him but it still made me feel like I was missing something. **shrugs
Dr. Kushnick was very personable and thourough. I would highly recommend him.
Listened intelligently to my concerns, followed through with action without babying me. I had another meeting after too so Dr. Kushnick saw my immediately - all around a good experience (for having to see an ENT at least...)
Doctor was backed up several hours and did not feel the need to inform patients. After an hour and fifteen minutes, I went to ask, and only then was I informed, with major attitude, that there were many patients ahead of me and it would be a very long time. They knew when I arrived that it would be several hours- it would have been nice to have been told and given the option to reschedule. Weirdest part- he made pointless small talk with me for 15 or 20 minutes while patients who had been waiting for hours continued to wait outside...
Very nice and easy to deal with, leasant atmosphere, explained everything
He is an excellent and personable doctor and I felt that he truly cared about my issue and my situation, was also just generally interested in me as a person. Great guy - the only complaint I have is the long wait time, but if you're prepared for this it's worth it. Conveniently located at Brooklyn Hospital.
Very nice guy to help get the wax plug out of my ear as a 30+ individual. No more q-tips for me. Once I got to the MD he took all of 15 minutes if that long. Nice and gentle, explaining while working.
Very pleasant, even with the wait.
There were lots of people there, but the visit was quick. Confirmed what I already suspected. So this was more a second opinion visit.
Although a long wait to see him, (which happens rarely according to an established patient who had been waiting there as well), Dr. Kushnick was friendly and had well bed side manners, which is a privilege to get with some of these doctors now a days. Although he had many patients waiting to see him, I didn't feel rushed at all by him. He performed a thorough exam and was able to treat my problem on the spot and had answered all my questions.
The doctor was friendly and knowledgable. However, the wait was over an hour long. I arrived at 3pm for a 3:15 appointment and was not seen until 4:20. The waiting room was overcrowded to the point that people were sitting on the floor and standing. It was alsp incredibly hot in the waiting room making it more unpleasant.
Great guy, nice sense of humor. Honest. Warm staff. Waiting room was full but surprisingly my wait was not long. I'd recommend...
they need to go by appointment time not who doctors decide
Helpful doctor, solid advice.
I liked the Dr. Kushnick once I saw him, but it was clear he was overbooked. The waiting area was somewhat loud and hot with a lot of people waiting for their appointment with him. I waited 45 before he was able to see me. Even though he was almost an hour behind schedule, I did not feel rushed during my appointment and he seemed knowledgeable and was helpful. I would go back to see the doctor, but didn't love the waiting room experience.
Excellent. Professional. Knew what to do and was friendly and helpful.
It was okay, nothing too spectacular, but not bad. One of his receptionist was a tad rude.
I had to wait over an hour and allergy testing is not done in his office so I was given a referral. But otherwise, I was happy with my visit-- Dr. Kushnick was really friendly and knowledgeable, and addressed my other ENT concerns.
I had a great visit. He was pleasant to speak to and I will seek his assistance in the future.
Great! He was very friendly and help me get through my procedure which I was actually scared to do.
I think he's great in finding out what the problem is.
Dr Kushnick was very courteous and professional. My visit was quick and wait was not long. I would def recommend him to others seeking an ENT consultation.
I thought he was great. It was my first visit and I was very nervous as I am very pickey about Doctors and will walk out if I feel the slightest bit uncomfortable or faced with rude staff. The Docotr, his medical student assistant and his staff were excellent. I will definately go back to him and would reccommend him to anyone lloking for an ear nose and throat Doctor.
My impression is that he was/is overbooked and that's why he has to do everything really quick. It is not that he was rushing carelessly. I feel like he was trying to work as efficiently as possible. Time management is key if you're overbooked. Some people like to tell the doctors long stories about their conditions and they want to be heard. In this case, you have to be precise, say exactly what you have and/or what you'd like and he will ask you more questions as needed
very friendly and positive.
I am more than happy to visit him again for another appointment!
Dr. Kushnick used a device to clean impacted cerumen in my ear, a procedure I have to have done regularly at clinics in the city. He used such force of pressure and it was so painful that I was dizzy for the rest of the day. I will go to a clinic and have this done by a nurse from now on.
I must say that my Visit with Dr Steven Kushnick was great. He was very friendly and spoke to me in terms that i could understand. He also helped alleviate some of the hearing issues I was facing!!!
Very professional and nice doc.
Awesome experience. He saw me right away and was easy to speak with.
So far I'm pleased with my visit to Dr. Kushnick's office. A hearing test was administered and based on result Dr. Is sending me for further tests. Sorry I didn't find him earlier.
Dr. Kushnick was very friendly, easygoing, and cool to talk to. I was seen right away!
Quick, efficient, friendly. Definitely recommend.
Very friendly, felt comfortable & didn't have to wait very long to be seen. Would recommend!
