Dr. Radowitz is the Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Nushama Psychedelic Wellness. He has extensive experience treating patients with alcohol and other addictions and has witnessed firsthand the effects trauma can have on physical health. Using the power of psychedelic medicine alongside his psychotherapy team, he treats Alcohol Use Disorder with the innovative multidisciplinary treatment "KARE"-Ketamine for the Reduction of Alcohol Relapse. This program combines ketamine infusions with intensive psychotherapy, providing outstanding results in treating alcoholism. This revolutionary four-week treatment is offered at Nushama under his direct supervision and delivers excellent outcomes for patients seeking to avoid relapse.
Dr. Radowitz developed various treatment modalities based on his belief that psychedelic medicine is the future of mental wellness and that current solutions often treat symptoms without addressing underlying issues. He is DEA licensed to treat opioid addiction as a buprenorphine medical provider. From opioids to alcohol addiction, Dr. Radowitz is passionate about supporting people struggling with substance use as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor and is trained in KARE's highly efficacious protocol. He is the former Medical Director of the Inpatient Medical Detoxification Service at St. Vincent's Midtown Hospital, overseeing alcohol and opiate detox and treatment units.
Dr. Radowitz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University. He completed his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and his residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

These ketamine infusion treatments changed my life- completely. I was dealing with so many different traumas, depression, and full of anxiety and heartache. I had lost so much self love and self worth in a previous toxic relationship. Once I had finally gotten out of it, I knew I needed to do something to rewire my brain- and Nushama went above and beyond my expectations. They have the most excellent staff and most importantly, highly effective Integration Coaches that help you process all that you've experience while on your journey. I cannot thank them enough for saving me and bringing me back to my true self, while having such a fun time. I am forever indebted to them and cannot recommend them enough!

Dr. Radowitz is a kind. compassionate and knowledgable physician with a very calming presence. He and the staff at Nushama are supportive, warm and welcoming. The center is beautiful and serene and the entire experience, from beginning to end, is amazing....I always feel very well taken care of. I did a lot of research about the different places offering Ketamine treatments in NYC and Nushama was (is) the clear stand out. If you are interested in trying Ketamine, I highly recommend Dr Radowitz and Nushama.

Dr. Steven Radowitz is one of the smartest, kindest doctors you will ever meet! Not only does he understand the science behind psychedelic therapy, ketamine, and the brain, but he is also spiritual, which is important—Johns Hopkins studies show the mystical experience is key. He is also giving with his time, energy, and presence, ensuring you are comfortable and everything is done properly, like medical intake, dosing, and integration. I have also enjoyed listening to podcasts where he is a guest, learning more about how to integrate my experience through yoga, meditation, journaling, and more. He and his team reach out consistently to follow up with me and make sure I’m doing well. Now that I have participated, I am a Nushama member and receive invites to their events. It’s a beautiful community I’m grateful to be a part of as I enjoy the benefits of these lasting connections. If you’re curious, I highly recommend doing a consult to see if it’s right for you!

Dr. Radowitz is one of the kindest and most compassionate physicians I have ever seen. He takes the time to really understand your needs and motivations in doing this work to achieve positive breakthroughs in dealing with mental health struggles.
The clinic itself is beautiful and serene, and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly and hospitable. The post-treatment snacks are also delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience.
