About Dr. Steven Wolinsky
Earned his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1979. He completed his internship in general surgery at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in 1980 and his residency in dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1983, both in New York. After completing his training, Dr. Wolinsky served on the Clinical Dermatology Faculty at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and in the Dermatology Department of Presbyterian Hospital in New York. Dr. Wolinsky is Board Certified in Dermatology, and he joined the practice in 1984. In his spare time, Dr. Wolinsky is a triathlete who hikes and runs marathons.

When I scheduled my appointment I thought I would speak with a dermatologist who would listen and then give me professional feedback on what I have been experiencing with my hair, and what my next steps would be; but unfortunately I feel like I was being talked over and given information about my hair without a real analysis of my scalp. The wait time was longer than the actual visit (felt rushed).Upon leaving the office I asked if the prescription was sent over to the pharmacy and was told it was already sent. Fast forward 3 days later I am still calling and asking to please send over the prescriptions The first excuse was, so sorry this was an error. Second excuse the prescription was sent over. Third call in which the woman whoI was transferred to seemed annoyed but said the dr I saw was out of the office, but someone else would send the prescription over.
Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for the prescription to be sent over but at this point will not waste my time calling again.

Mom is 92 yrs old and Dr Wolinski and his staff are absolutely wonderful with her. She has had several lesions removed from her face and hand and he gets the job done with a minimum of pain and stress. Highly recommended.

Dr. Wolinsky was very thorough. Came in for a hair loss consultation and he right away started asking me questions about my lifestyle, health and diet. He examined my scalp and explained to me reasons for hair loss. He ordered blood work for hormones, vitamin deficiencies and immune disorders. I appreciate his thoroughness and listening to my concerns where others have dismissed me.

It was my first time there and I will definitely return.
The office was attentive and alert to my arrival (refreshing). The registration process was fast. The front desk was courteous.
I was seen within 3 minutes of singing in. I was seen by Avraham Sokoloff who was very caring and listened to my concerns. I felt cared for by him.
Their sanitation protocols are very evident, and the place looks and smells clean and professional. Much higher scale appearance than what you get at any place in Middletown.
I came here based on reviews and drove past everyone near me and it was worth the drive. I don’t typically write reviews but this crew of professional people deserves it. I look forward to my follow up. Crystal Run, Middletown Medical, Orange Urgent and Garnet Health System could learn a lot from you fine folks. Thank you for restoring my faith in medicine in 2022.
