About Dr. Stewart Kamen
Dr. Kamen holds an appointment in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York Presbyterian-Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He also completed a residency in surgery at New York Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Kamen specializes in reestablishing the foot to its proper form and function through surgical restoration of painful or unsightly deformities. With a special interest in lower extremity biomechanics, he is able to rehabilitate both surgical patients and non-surgical patients, such as athletes and children.
He utilizes the most advanced medical technologies available to help diabetic patients at risk, focusing on preventing limb loss. Dr. Kamen regularly lectures to the medical community on diabetic limb salvage.
Whether performing reconstructive surgery, assisting athletes to continue performing at their desired level, or helping diabetic patients avoid infection and amputation, Dr. Kamen is passionate about addressing each patient’s individual needs.

Pleasant, clean office, nice reception, practically no wait. But this doctor is worth waiting for. The only problem I had was parking. This office is in a busy street and parking space is not easy to find.
