About Dr. Stuart Snyder
Dr. Stuart R. Snyder has been in practice for over 30 years. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University and completed his residency at the Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic. He is board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and is a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Snyder is the founder and chief Podiatric Medical Director of Maple Springs Ambulatory Surgical Center. He has been on staff at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital for over 30 years. He currently sees patients from the Gaithersburg, Rockville, Germantown, Potomac, North Potomac, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Olney, and Frederick areas.

Didn’t even do much as glance at my feet before trying to sell me orthotics and telling me my 30 year running career was doomed if I didn’t buy them. Never did give me a diagnosis for my toe pain or any way to alleviate it. No, thank you. If you’re a runner, or any type of athlete, avoid at all costs.

As I checked in for my appointment with Dr. Snyder, I told Kara at the front desk that they almost made me wish I had more issues with my feet so I'd have more reasons to visit them! They are incredibly friendly, prompt, and prepared as an office.
They offered to squeeze me in for a toenail removal appointment because I'd been limping along on a ripped nail for a week while on vacation. Dr. Snyder was very clear and communicative about the whole process, and even though they were seeing me among their other scheduled patients, I was in and out in less than an hour! Highly recommend!

Dr. Snyder is a professional and attentive podiatrist. It was not my first visit with him, and when another appointment was needed over a decade later, I immediately thought about, and chose him again.. He really listens to your concerns, is able to explain what is going, and how to correct it. No problem scheduling surgical procedure with process and aftercare explained. Trust my foot care to Dr.

Seen previously by Dr. Snyder and highly recommend him. I needed an urgent appt because of painful crack on sole of my foot. Booked on line w/ next day availability. He is thorough, carefully explains his findings and plan for treatment. Dr. Snyder took culture, applied cream to the area and carefully wrapped bandage around the entire area. He explained his findings and possible outcomes, instructions for care and followup appt.

Dr. Snyder was awesome! I had to make an emergency appointment after my toe nail suddenly fell off - was lucky enough to find him on zocdoc. Did my research after booking the appointment and was excited to see his other positive reviews. Went to my appointment and he and the staff exceeded all expectations. He explained everything, was very calming - even while administering numbing injections - and was personable as well as knowledgeable. Didn't expect to need a podiatrist so suddenly, but glad I have found such a great one to add to my care team!

I would recommend this Clinic as the staff are very polite and Dr. Snyder’s bedside manner helped to put me at ease.

Dr. Snyder was great! The only thing I did not appreciate was prescribing custom orthotics without any regard to affordability. I wish the doc was up front about the cost, and then I could have asked for recommendations for the orthotics that I can afford. Instead I was forced to research on my own, and I would have liked Dr. Snyder’s opinion on what to look for.

The staff was very friendly and Dr.Snyder was the best! My husband and my son had the same procedures done few years ago by different doctors and they were pleased with the results but they told me to get prepared that the injection in my toe was the most painful injection that they ever had. So I went to Dr. Snyder because my best friend had the same procedure (ingrown nail) done Dr. Snyder and she did not complain that the injection was too painful. Indeed, Dr. Snyder gave me 3 injections in the big toe with such care and expertise that they hurt less that a tooth injection, very little pain. The procedure was completed fast and after the anesthesia went away I didn't have any pain and I could walk without pain the same day. Dr. Snyder has also a very nice personality that made me feel comfortable and not afraid. He described to me in details everything that he was doing. Thank you so much Dr. Snyder!
