Dr. Suguna Neelakantan graduated from medical college in Trivandrum, India in 2000 and did her Internal Medicine residency at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey which is affiliated with Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2008. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been practicing as a primary care Internal Medicine physician for the past 15 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She has managed patients with multiple chronic medical problems and has excellent communication skills. Her interests are diabetes, patient education, and preventive care.
She has also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth teaching the next generation of physicians.
