We believe in a holistic approach to effectively treat and help our patients get better. Our team includes providers trained at the University of Ilorin College of Health Sciences, where they earned their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. Further training was completed through a Psychiatry residency at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Carilion Clinic, and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Texas, Fort Worth. We currently accept the insurance plans listed on our profile. For patients who are out of network or do not have health insurance, we accept credit and debit card payments. New patient consultation is $250, and follow-up appointments are $125.
What should a new client know about working with you?
You will be meeting with a board certified psychiatrist in American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology who combines medication management and psychotherapy, and together, you both develop a treatment plan to help you get you to your goals. We value shared decision making which is why we always provide you adequate education about your diagnosis and treatment options.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
A new patient consultation usually takes 45 mins - 1 hour. Follow up consultation takes about 20 mins. During your appointment, we will discuss your concerns, symptoms, struggles, thoughts, feelings and together, we formulate a personalized treatment plan to help you get to where you want to be.

I booked this appointment on a Monday night which was a holiday. I was able to have a minute appointment with this physician the next day. The office staff was amazing and communicated with me. The physician himself contacted me in order to make sure that I was able to get all medical records to him. ?? he allowed me to speak, and explain myself in every way. Never interrupted me. Made me feel valid in all my thoughts and feelings. ?

Dr. Bakre is a kind and very helpful provider. I recently moved and happens, struggling to find a provider. I am so thankful to Dr. Bakre as he is understanding and knowledgeable. He also is upfront and tells you everything you need to know. Very reasonable, attentive, listens, provides feedback but most importantly he respects you as an individual by not pushing anything on you. He truly cares about your feelings and your patient autonomy as well. I would highly recommend him. I will absolutely keep him as my Provider. His office admin is also very helpful and kind as well.
