Getting to know Summer Sievert
Summer Sievert is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has worked in a variety of settings within the healthcare industry. After graduating as Valedictorian from Breckenridge School of Nursing with an Associate of Science in Nursing, her journey with education was only beginning. Summer completed a bachelor's in nursing at Aspen University and earned a bachelor's in accounting from Kaplan University.
Upon completing multiple degrees with distinguished honors, Summer continued her education at Western Governors University, where she earned a Master of Nursing, specializing in Nursing Education. Through her positions in the field, she further advanced her expertise by completing a post-master's certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing through Regis College.
Summer has been recognized as a leader within the professional setting through her involvement in various associations and committees throughout her career. While working with sexual assault cases, she became involved with the Best Practices Committee within the Florida Sexual Assault Task Force. In addition, she currently serves as the Florida Chapter Vice President of the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
Her experience includes working with adolescents and adult patients of all ages and backgrounds. Summer's extensive professional background spans Emergency Departments in hospitals, treatment centers focused on mental health and addiction, and outpatient mental healthcare within the community and group homes.

As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am able to deliver appropriate care for challenging and changing situations. Being part of the healthcare industry for the past 10 years, I have been able to diversify my experiences within the extensive field.
