I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over fifteen years of experience in health care setting. When you first come in, I evaluate the current psychiatric condition, find out what triggers your symptoms. We will dig in deeper to resolve any unprocessed past trauma and unpleasant memories. Then I can guide you through how to manage your stress and fear using talk therapy and medication if needed. I will treat you with compassion and dignity so that you feel heard and seen. I speak both English and Korean fluently.

I had a truly great experience with her. From the very first session, she made me feel comfortable, heard, and understood. She is incredibly patient, thoughtful, and professional, and she takes the time to really listen rather than rush through appointments.

I thoroughly enjoy my visits with Sun Kim! She is an amazing listener, gives exceptional feedback and advice, and enjoys what she does. I found Ms. Kim on the Psychology Today website. It is hard to find a therapist who is culturally sensitive. She understands my cultural background and gives me useful advice and methods to reduce my anxiety. Whenever I go to her office, I feel safe and comfortable. She is very gentle and kind. She encourages me to be strong and who I am. I appreciate all her positive words and beautiful smile.
