About Dr. Sunil Saxena

SaxenaCare was started by Dr. Saxena because of his passion to help those struggling with addiction. Too often, patients struggling with addiction are “written off” as weak-minded or morally corrupt. At SaxenaCare Recovery, we believe in reducing the stigma surrounding addiction and allowing those in need greater access to these life-saving and life-changing treatments. Dr. Saxena recognizes that addiction is a medical condition, and we have treatments available to significantly assist committed individuals with gaining and maintaining recovery. Dr. Saxena earned his Doctor of Medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. His medical training informs our approach at SaxenaCare, where we use evidence-based treatments that have proven benefits for those struggling with addiction. We understand that addiction is a medical problem, just like any long-term condition, and needs to be treated accordingly.

Paid for a visit and no pharmacy would fill the meds in wv beause it was a Virginia percription and wouldn’t refund me the money back not even half. Stay away!

For as busy as he is with patients in his office, he still makes time for the virtual visits and has never made me feel rushed or like I'm less important because I am a virtual patient. I'm incredibly happy to have found him and grateful to have the option of virtual medical care.
