Dr. Sunny was really attentive and really took care of my foot and how to proceed on the healing and care strategies. He listened and was very kind to me by making sure I understood and took the right approach towards my healing so it takes less time and is less painful. I 100% recommend him and I wish all doctors took the same time and attention like he does to make the patient experience more human. I’m grateful to have gone to him.

Dr. Makhijani (aka Dr. Sunny) was great! He was very knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. I appreciated that he listened to every little question/concern that I had and he was very clear with his instructions on how to treat my foot issue. The office staff was also friendly and helpful. It was a quicker than expected process, and I'd definitely go back (if I have any other issues, but hopefully not!). Highly recommend!

When an ulcerated toe compounded my chronic foot problems, my PCP made an emergency referral to Dr. Kenneth Meisler, “Podiatrist to the Stars”. Dr. Meisler, after warning of the risk of amputation, sent me to his colleague, Dr. Sunny Makhijani. Dr. Sunny (as he’s known to patients and staff) assured me there’d be no risk of losing my foot, provided I adhered strictly to his advice. I did, with miraculous results. Seven months later, my toe was completely healed, and my foot was in better shape than it had been for decades.
Dr. Sunny changed my life, and I’ll be forever grateful. He was also a delight to work with. His warmth, kindness, superb communication and sincere concern for my overall well-being relieved the stress of my treatments.
Simply put, Dr. Sunny is a highly skilled physician and a genuinely nice guy!

The doctor was excellent, fast, and took care of a very painful situation to my great satisfaction and relief. The doctor had a wonderful bedside manner and was a good listener. The weak spot in the experience was that the office was busy and a little chaotic. My appointment was originally for 12 and rescheduled for 12:30. Then I had to wait until 12:50, which isn't that bad. Then when I was called, no room was available so I had to wait 15 more minutes. But since the doctor was so good and since I came in pain and left with no pain, I am not complaining. Maybe the office was so busy because the care is good.

The wait time is the ONLY thing I didn't like. When I arrived, I addressed the front desk staff, letting them know what time my appointment was scheduled for and which doctor I was there for. I was told by 2 of the 4 staff members at the front desk to sign in. I signed in and sat for 10 minutes before a 3rd staff member asked me my name to which was ALREADY given upon arrival at 3:24pm. Then I told that staff member my full name, and she then sat back down in her chair, and another 10 minutes went by. My appointment was at 3:30pm. I was seen at 4pm. I was not happy about that, but my first time meeting Dr. Makhijani was exceptional. I'm glad he was attentive to all that I needed. He was compassionate and very caring and knowledgeable of what my visit was for. Thank you for the informative information given on my first visit. I hope my next visit I won't have to wait as long.
