Susan Eluwa, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
PA
My name is Susan Eluwa and I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My passion for psychiatric care comes from a genuine desire to help people improve their quality of life and achieve emotional wellness. While working as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I recognized that many patients were struggling with mental health challenges that significantly affected their overall health, relationships , and daily functioning. This inspired me to transition to psychiatry, where I could focus on helping individuals and families navigate these challenges and achieve lasting wellness. I enjoy working with both children and adults, with a special interest in supporting children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, emotional dysregulation and other mental health conditions, as well as adults facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and life stressors. I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgemental environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My goal is to provide personalized, evidence-based care that helps each person build resilience, reach their full potential, and live a healthier, more fulfilling life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
